I had my baby 3 days ago. I still don’t have my supply. Yes I have colostrum and yes it’s starting to turn white but it’s not enough to the point today my newborn was desperately crying latched onto my boob because I guess not enough is coming out :( I had to give her formula cause I couldn’t bare to see her in such desperation anymore, she’s not sleeping soundly after not being able to sleep all day today. When is my milk coming in? Will it even? I’ve been hydrating eating oats. Body armor, and also I’ve been latching her no matter what, my nipples are so sore from cluster feeding.

Try not to stress, it can also cause low milk supply. I know that’s easier said than done! My advice would be to keep trying to latch as baby’s saliva will help your body produce. You could also try pumping! It may be a little painful at first so I recommend nipple cream. Make sure you have the right flange size too!

I second the above. Right now it’s all about stimulation if you want a good milk supply. Milk is all about supply and demand. If there’s a demand, your body with make the supply.
That’s why infants cluster feed, to tell your body “hey, my body is about to hit a growth spurt, make more”
Have you been feeding every 2hours? 30 mins on each breast?
I use to slather my boobs and nipples in coconut oil after every feed until it was all messaged in, to moisturize. The 1st 1-1.5m is the hardest cuz you and baby are both learning each other. And our nipples aren’t use to being needed every 2 hrs. But as they age they get more efficient and the feeding time decreases as on each boob each feed
