So I’m currently 9 weeks pregnant, and I’m still breastfeeding my first to sleep. Has anyone got any tips how I can wean her off before baby #2 arrives?

Try to reduce the time you are breastfeeding your LO, i.e., if you normally do it 15min, do it 12 min today. Next week reduce it even more, but only a few minutes at a time. This worked for me.

How old are they?

Many people find as their milk changes to colostrum the taste changes and some children self wean then. Others find that their milk dries up and the children dry nurse happily, whilst some get really annoyed at the lack of milk!
I decided to stop at about 7 weeks as the sensation was unbearable. My son was 15 months and only really feeding overnight and once in the evening. We stopped overnight first by redirecting with cuddles. I also put plasters on my nipples so they weren't accessible because even him fiddling was painful! He was annoyed for a couple of nights but it was fine. In the day time if he asked we just redirected, said milk all done and offered a bottle of water or snack
