Is it safe for babies to sleep on their tummy?

Trying to figure out how to lay my 4 and half month old baby down for his naps. He wakes up every time I set him down. I tried setting him down on his tummy once and he stayed asleep but then I read it isn’t safe so I picked him back up.

Always put baby down on their back. If they roll they roll, but you always put them down on their back

Feeling paranoid 🤯

My brother was playing with my 9 month d and was just throwing him in the air… Im paranoid that he will get brain damage or something as I googled it and it said you shouldn’t throw them in the air. It wasn’t done roughly. He was just playing with him 😩🥺

Is there TMI on here or am I just too sensitive?

I see a lot of posts about abuse, neglect, and honestly medical emergencies on here. One reason I stray from social media is because the lack of discernment of people.

Therapy is what some of these posts need to be directed towards. Calling the cops on a handful of others. I know we are hormonal and what not. But if you don’t want honest opinions and bluntness along with the more gentle moms of comfort. Is it too much to ask, “Should I post this? Do I really want a strangers opinion on this matter?”

And I could be wrong and that’s okay too.

Crying

Does anyone else’s baby just cry allll the time. I feel like the only time my baby doesn’t cry is when they’re asleep! She does have reflux but is on medication for this but I just feel like unless I hold her all day she just cries it’s so exhausting

Does anyone have a fully pitch black room for you/kids to sleep in? Does it help with sleep or eye tiredness?

So many gaps in our black out curtains or blinds means when its summer its never totally dark n at night there is some street light coming thru

Did a fully pitch black room help you or your kids with sleep?

Feeding

My little one is 8 weeks old and I’ve noticed she doesn’t wake up for feeds during the night now. She can go 7-8 hours without waking up, is that normal? I’ve tried to wake her up in btw to give her for a feed as I get worried she’s not drinking enough. She will sometimes take to it.

Transitioning to 1 nap - too early?

My daughter had her 9-12month review yesterday. She's doing amazingly well and progressing with flying colours! The health visitor mentioned dropping down to 1 nap a day. Isn't that a little bit early? My daughter does struggle to go to sleep in the evening, I usually cap her afternoon nap to 4pm and then she goes to bed at 8, sometimes it takes about an hour to get her down but I've been putting that down to development and basically wanting to be awake to explore.
I'm confused as to what I should do now. I think the health visitor is a little early on this, but maybe I'm wrong?
