Breast feeding pain

Hi everyone, I’m 4 weeks postpartum and still dealing with nipple pain during breastfeeding. It’s gotten to the point where I’ve been pumping and bottle-feeding instead because the pain is so overwhelming. Everyone keeps saying it should ease up by 2-3 weeks max, so I’m wondering has anyone else dealt with pain lasting this long? Is this still within the range of normal, or should I be worried?

Try using a cream like lanolin.
Check you have the correct flange use in the pump (too small and you'll be having friction which causes pain, too big and it'll be pulling too much nipple into and causing painl.

I'm 5months PP and currently have really bad nipple pain but I'm certain it's a cracked nipple so slathering on the lanolin

I would recommend a lactation specialist if you haven't already looked into one.
It could be the nipple being raw or cracked, due to how your baby is latching. You might need to invest in a nipple shield for a while to assist with latching - as someone else mentioned, check the flange size on your pump. I bought an insert pack from Amazon for like 10 bucks and it made a world of difference

anyone awake?

Going through so much right now. Down to my last ready made formula. 3 nappies left. I've barely eaten today. PPD in full swing. Does it get any better without a village?

Nipple Shields

First time mom here. My babygirl just turned 2 weeks yesterday and has been having some struggles with latching on so I have been exclusively pumping. I was told to try out nipple shields which I tried but why does it seem so hard to put those things on as well as the nipple part seems too big for my newborn to put in her mouth to latch on to. Or is it just me ? Anybody having trouble with nipple shields too? If so what suggestions do you have because oh my lanta it’s stressing me out 😖

Help - Baby Not Settling in Bassinet

I have a 10 day old , he has been doing so well with sleeping in his bassinet but last night was the first time he refused to sleep unless on me for skin to skin.

We went through all the possibilities for his discomfort, if he was hungry he ate , if his nappy was dirty it was changed , it was 27 degrees in our room so we kept him in his nappy to not overheat. The sound machine and light is on. The room is being cooled by a fan

Please any advice would be great ??

One week since delivering stillborn twins at 26 weeks

The pain is still heavy, like my body’s stuck in cement. I’ve cried more than I think I ever have. I’m exhausted and I still feel so sad but my eyes are running out of tears to flow. The shock of it all has faded, it still doesn’t feel like real life. I go back and forth between sitting still, completely numb and trying to be proactive to protect my mental health.
I’m trying to figure out who this new version of myself is, grieving childless mother. A big part of me wants to stay strong, keep up healthy routines and habits, be lively and energetic in caring for our 5.5 month old puppy, and work on projects to honor the lives of our babies we lost. While the other half just wants to lay and do nothing.
I have some time off work to allow this grieving process, thankfully. I can’t fathom going back to work. I don’t know how to face my colleagues and clients after everyone knew about my pregnancy and was excited.
Anyone have any insights on transitioning back into reality/ work life?
