When did you announce your 2nd pregnancy?
I have a 9mo old and am 6w pregnant with my second. They will have an ~18mo age gap. I have told a few close friends & family members, but I feel a little embarrassed to tell my coworkers and post on social media as this pregnancy wasn’t planned. Curious to hear when others announced their pregnancies.
Last pregnancy, I announced to some people as early as 10 weeks and posted on social media at the end of my first trimester. My baby turns 1 in early October so I was thinking to wait until Halloween to announce this pregnancy, but I will be well into my second trimester (21w) by then and doubt I can hide it for that long (surely I will be showing). I also don’t want the new baby announcement to take attention away from my baby’s first birthday.

With my firstborn I announced at 9 weeks. With my second born i announced at 18 weeks to everyone but 17 weeks to parents. Both my babies were planned and there's 11 months between them. I waited to announce bc I cba with people's opinions on how I should live my life 🙃
It depends how comfortable you are telling people. If something happened god forbid are you okay them knowing being their and asking questions.
I told people when I was 5 weeks pregnant and thats because I have had lost baby's and I have a 10 month old now so this time around I'm okay with what ever outcome it may be i know my family and friends will be supportive and caring . You just have to ask your thats and make sure you truly are okay with it.
i procrastonated announcing my second preganancy 😅 my son was 11 months old and i was about 15w pregnant. i basically told everyone in person by then tho, my dad gets super excited when I'm pregnant and he tells everyone too😂
I announced it once I was 36 weeks. I told my parents a lot sooner and my in laws. But everyone else I told a couple of weeks before giving birth.
I told my parents, in laws and closest friends around 10 weeks and kinda announced her a month after she was born😅 I wasn’t ashamed or anything but I had just been living and enjoying life in the real world that if you seen me in public you knew but I could care less about announcing it.
