Symptoms

Symptoms can be very individualized because it depends on what is affected by the endometrial tissue growth. I personally ended up with endometriomas so I was having a very painful cyst ruptured during my period but you can have them rupture anytime during your cycle. They ended up doing an ultrasound because my ovary felt swollen and I had 4- 4cm endometriomas and my ovary was like the size of a softball when they went in there to take it out. But some people end up with the endometrial tissue growing and adhering to their bowel and bladder and end up with issues that way. I also had pain during sex because anything being inserted in there caused extra pressure on my ginormous ovary

I get pains in my ovaries during ovulation. Just before my period starts I get IBS style symptoms (I have endo on my bowel) and then when my period starts I get excruciating pains. I also get really tired and lethargic.
