I found out at 9 months, they are 17 months and 2.5 weeks apart. I absolutely love it! There are so many more good days than bad ones! Seeing their bond and them growing together is so amazing! We are planning to try for our 3rd and final together (I do have 1 step daughter who’s 6) when my youngest is around 9 months as well! I absolutely love the age gap! They are so close! My oldest loves being a big sissy! Of course my toddler tantrums from time to time and my youngest is going through teething and regressions but honestly I think it’s so amazing! Adding now my babies are now almost 2 (will be 2 on August 26) and 5 months (will be 6 months on the 17th)

19 months between my two, hard work but wouldn’t change it x

18 month age gap .. single mum with no village. It was challenging juggling their needs and the sleep deprivation, but manageable ! They are super close now and you don’t really remember the hard parts 😅

I found out at eight months. My girls are 16 months apart. I just had my baby two weeks ago and to be completely honest it is so freaking hard and I think it’s more the fact that I don’t know how to juggle two kids and my newborn is a total stage five Klinger

17 months between mine. Mine also hadn’t slept through the night until after 12 months. Start sleep training now trust me. It makes a world of difference. The first few months are the toughest. Once the newborn was a little less fragile things got a lot easier. And once we got on a rough schedule even better. Now a year and a half and 3 years old and they are each others best friends. They won’t go anywhere without the other and they occasionally sneak into the others bed at night for a cuddle.

I have 3 kids and did an 18 month age gap twice (I had my third baby in May when my middle child was 18 months and my oldest was 3 years old).

The older two are SO close and do everything together, it's amazing and so beautiful to see. They also fight like animals 🤣 Overall though I wouldn't change it for the world, and have absolutely no regrets.

My kids have a 19m gap and whilst we’re only a couple months in I’m absolutely loving it it was definitely the right decision for my family, don’t get me wrong there are definitely hard days and the first few weeks i thought it was the worst mistake i could’ve ever made but it gets easier everyday, i try and involve my son in things and have taught him how to “care” for her when she cries so at least he feels like he’s helping when I’m busy with her i think the best advice i can give is even when you feel awful nothing seems to be going to plan ect just get out the house whether its to soft play, the park, even just going window shopping wherever you go just get out and about x

I have 18 months and 5 days between my first and second and just under 17 months between second and third (third is a prem baby) so for 5 weeks i had 3 under 3. Its stressful but the way my older one has reacted to helping his brother grow into a great little boy and my second has helped make my daughter laugh its great. Their bonds are strong. My eldest struggles to settle so nights feel long but the odd nap is great. Theyre funny together and the strange things they all do together make me laugh. Currently they all blow raspberries at each other or me. Feels like im showered

Hi Andrea. I'm a baby sleep coach. I also had 2 babies under two at one point. A great thing to do is to get your 9 month old sleeping all night so by the time baby #2 arrives you can have more time at night to focus on them. Check out my profile or message me if you want support. All the best!

Anyone else finding first trimester quite lonely?

I'm about 10 weeks now and from the outside theres no real visible change, but the mood swings and nausea are really getting to me. Its hard to share this with people when in general you are encouraged to keep it hush hush in the first trimester. Its so much change to navigate alone

Not a newborn anymore 😭

I’ve literally cried, probably, 7 times today because my baby girl is 8 weeks next week and not considered a newborn anymore. I can’t bear how fast time goes!

How are you all feeling mamas?

Overwhelmed and anxious at 38weeks

Hey, I’m 38+1 and so overwhelmed with everything and feeling slightly apprehensive now. I’m due 16th Aug, however I am measuring small, according to midwife and scans. I’ve had to go in for extra growth scans and there was talk about inducing me due to reduced movement however I am not yet ready for baby so I put it off last week. Things seemed to have evened out now, and baby was measuring 5lbs7 at my last growth. I still haven’t packed my hospital bag or baby’s bag, and I have no idea where to even begin or which bag to bring. I held off washing baby clothes due to a malfunctioning new wardrobe and I didn’t want to wash with nowhere to store clothes etc. I’ve finally started washing things now and placing clothes in storage boxes for now till I sort the wardrobe out, but I’m worried at my next scan (tomorrow) they might want to start things off. My midwife keeps saying we’ll do the birth plan but we haven’t yet, I’m not sleeping at night and have terrible heartburn :( also I want to try breastfeed this time round and unsure whether to take my breast pump into hospital with me.. any advice please. Thanks
