I know this is probably very common, but having had my 12 week scan on Monday im now waiting for the results of the combined test.
The NT was good and low but reading about the other factors that contribute to the algorithym and result it doesnt make me less nervous.
Is anyone deciding whether to also get an NIPT test, even if they have a 'low risk' (as I understand the numbers can change for low risk and where you sit)
I was also not prepared for the amount of anxiety that would come with being pregnant! If the fatigue and nausea arent already enough...

I’m in the camp of if it reduces your anxiety and it won’t financially burden you too much- do it. Whilst both are screening tools and not diagnostic the NIPT is more sensitive and reliable. You’ll be able to find private testing which varies in price but if they are “offering” a scan alongside it, unlike the combined test it’s not required for any measurements and that’s the business trying to gain more money so try to find the one without to keep costs down xx
