WTF….!

We are in the thick of the 4 month regression (at least I assume so). Please tell me it gets better! The internet is so confusing about what to do or not do during this time. I NEED some real mom advice or just reassurance!

It really does get better 🙏 youre probably doing everything you need to be doing. Unfortunately these regressions just take time and theres nothing youre doing wrong. I found the 4 month one the HARDEST so you are right in the thick of what will hopefully be the very worst. Just keep doing what you have to just to survive 🙏 i found it doesnt get better overnight, you dont wake up one day and all the struggles are gone. But one day youll look back and see how little things got easier and realise how far youve come. You got this 🫶 x

It feels drowning. I found it didn’t automatically go back to normal. When my little boy was 4 months it would be after the regression each time he fell asleep it would be slightly longer.

So he would wake up every 3 hours during the regression. Once it ended he’d sleep for 4 hours, then 5 and hour hours etc. they don’t bounce back, they slowly start sleeping longer

Just got to keep remembering that everything is just a phase and keep riding the waves. You got this mama!

Surprise 2 under 2

Our first LO was a surprise as we thought we couldn’t conceive naturally and now an even bigger surprise - I’m pregnant again and my head is going crazy!! I feel super blessed and lucky that we’ve had two miracles (I know what so many women have to go through) but I’m so overwhelmed right now. My first is still waking multiple times a night and needing to come into our bed from around 3 am. I also can’t imagine not being able to give her all my attention when she’s still so little! But I also know that my babies will grow until so close and hopefully have an amazing relationship in the future. Are there any other 2 under 2 mums (or mums to be) out there who can offer some words of wisdom?

Urgent

Did any of your doctor suggest low dose Aspirin during pregnancy saying you might prevent preeclampsia as your father have BP and your age is 35????

Baby drop?!

This morning breathing got so much easier. On the other hand I'm having to pee more, my sciatic pain has increased a great deal and there is a new weight on my pelvic floor. I'm not supposed to be due until September 25th and this is my second baby. The drop is supposed to happen 2-4 weeks ahead of labor with your first baby but not until labor with subsequent babies. I'm definitely not in labor but I'm very worried.
