Anyone else’s little one crying before naps/night time sleep? It’s been happening over the last few days where she’ll just whinge and then it escalates into full blown crying and I can’t settle her, she won’t take a dummy, she used to feed to sleep but now won’t, I’ve tried rocking her but she still cry’s and pushes off me and then if I put her down in the cot she cry’s! I do feel by the end of it she is overtired because she gets so worked up but it’s cause it’s taking like 10-15 minutes every time to get her to sleep if not more! I always follow her tired signs and don’t feel she’s overtired, I was thinking under tired but then she shows me clear signs she’s tired. Her wake windows are between 2-3 hours. Not sure if it’s a stage or I’m missing something?!

Yes it happens with my LO all the time. It happens because she’s fighting sleep and is so tired it’s making her cry. I usually have to walk around with her on my breast listening to baby music to get her to settle and sleep.

Super normal and is probably just a phase. I find that my baby is soothed by this music: https://youtu.be/4owTdwvbyNA?si=4QbwJeJcfzJhKa79. I usually put it on the loudest volume and lower it as she gets calmer. Sending you prayers and love x

How old is your LO? Started happening with mine when he was around 4mo… he still fights naps but bedtime is fine now!

Yesss!! Like fussier than before. I was thinking if it was teething, or is it sleep regression, or a phase.🤷♀️ For now, I went with feed to sleep and it seems to be working. She also sleeps on carrier or pram for naps… but not for long.

Probably entered the six months sleep regression, totally normal. Happened to my LO too, still in it actually but it's getting better.
