Sleep and naps

How are babies sleeping at night and naps during the day? Mine seems ok at night very early wake ups at 5 ish but sleeps from 7:30 ish. Day naps are max 30-40 minutes unless held or in pushchair.

Mine is 14 weeks today, 4-5 naps in the day most of them 30mins tops but sometimes I manage to help back to sleep and he would do max 1.5hr (total nap time in a day he has 4-4.5hrs)

At night he does first stretch max 3hrs and then wakes up every hour after that

I’m exhausted 😬

My LO sleeps from 8-8 but doesn't really nap during the day, unless being held and even then usually 5-10mins 4-5times a day, every now and again she'll do 30-40mins but nearly always first thing in the morning.

17 weeks and today has been hell!! He's fought every nap and bed time. I managed to get him to have 3 naps today, first was fairly long around 2 hours, then the second was about an hour and then the last one was split into two 20 min naps (he woke up and I managed to settle him back). All naps are contact naps. Bedtime routine involves bath, bottle and bed usually starts around 7-7:30 and depends on how tired he is he'll go to sleep around 8:30-9:30. Normally wakes around 1-2am for a feed, then also wake around 5-6am. Sometimes he eats and is back to sleep, sometimes it's the start of the day.

Overfeeding anxiety

My baby boy turns 7 weeks old tomorrow. He was 4 kg-8 lbs 13 oz when he was born and he’s already over 6.8 kg (15 lbs)!
I started with expressed breast milk but for the last couple of weeks I’ve been breastfeeding.
I’m super worried he’s gaining weight way too fast. My midwife, doctor, and hv all told me it’s totally normal for a breastfed (expressed or not) baby, but I’m still anxious about it.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? I constantly have this fear that I'm doing something wrong and overfeeding him.

Contact naps

I know contact naps at 2 weeks old are absolutely normal, but if your baby doesn’t contact nap and is perfectly happy falling asleep on their own… how do you do it?? My little one at the moment will only nap with me if swaddled, rocked and on me, which is exhausting and rather painful if I stand for too long… what’s your trick?!

Formula

What formula brand do you guys suggest for newborns?

It’s my first baby and I’m genuinely stuck on what formula to get and what formula would be best🫣

Am due in December!

Jealous

Is anyone else really jealous and just annoyed when other people are holding your baby?

Like when my baby is crying or fussy, please hand them back to me… also getting really annoyed when people are begging to watch my baby alone.. 🥴 like why do you want my baby so bad type of thing?…

If so, did you ever get better with your emotions and learned to trust people with your baby?.. I just can’t imagine letting someone else care for my child as my parents themselves never handed me off to anyone unless it was blood family..
