She was well worth the wait 😘🩷

Had baby girl on 8/3 at 40+1! She kept us on our toes the whole week prior with not one but two false labors! They offered to induce me since I was already there and I decided to decline and just see when she’d make her debut. 😉 Well worth the few extra days!

We got to come home after 24 hours, and it’s just been amazing. If you’re debating on going for a 3rd baby, 10/10 recommend. 😌

Hair/Skin/Nails Postpartum

Ok so we all expect to have terrible hair postpartum but anyone else having terrible nails and skin to?

My nails keep growing all ridged/wonky and very brittle but hard at the same time!

Skin is so dry it’s almost painful!

Taking all the good supplements and lathering cream on by the bucket load.. just tell me this is normal and I’m not alone here! Does it get better over time!?!?

WTF….!

We are in the thick of the 4 month regression (at least I assume so). Please tell me it gets better! The internet is so confusing about what to do or not do during this time. I NEED some real mom advice or just reassurance!

Surprise 2 under 2

Our first LO was a surprise as we thought we couldn’t conceive naturally and now an even bigger surprise - I’m pregnant again and my head is going crazy!! I feel super blessed and lucky that we’ve had two miracles (I know what so many women have to go through) but I’m so overwhelmed right now. My first is still waking multiple times a night and needing to come into our bed from around 3 am. I also can’t imagine not being able to give her all my attention when she’s still so little! But I also know that my babies will grow until so close and hopefully have an amazing relationship in the future. Are there any other 2 under 2 mums (or mums to be) out there who can offer some words of wisdom?

Combined test - anxiety awaiting results.

I know this is probably very common, but having had my 12 week scan on Monday im now waiting for the results of the combined test.

The NT was good and low but reading about the other factors that contribute to the algorithym and result it doesnt make me less nervous.

Is anyone deciding whether to also get an NIPT test, even if they have a 'low risk' (as I understand the numbers can change for low risk and where you sit)

I was also not prepared for the amount of anxiety that would come with being pregnant! If the fatigue and nausea arent already enough...
