I feel so alone throughout this postpartum period. My boyfriend (he doesn't even deserve that title anymore) refuses to talk to me. We don't live together, and we have a 2-month-old daughter, yet he purposely ignores me.
For months, I've been telling him how alone, sad, overwhelmed, and exhausted I feel, and it's like my words have fallen on deaf ears. All I've wanted is to talk to him—to feel like I have my partner by my side. We've been together for six years, and now he says he wants time to think about us.

Honey, I don't mean to sound rude or to hurt your feelings, but let him go. You deserve so much more than that, especially after giving him a child. I know more than anyone how you want to hold on, and you want your little family but if he can ignore the women that just gave birth to his child then he is not a good man and you deserve someone who's gonna give you the world and some.

I feel like that to sometimes but that is why I redownloaded this app to find other moms who understands or is going thru the same thing as me. You are not alone

You are in the throws of postpartum depression. I have been there and still there. Unfortunately the best way to heal is in a different environment. Anyone who can berate a young mother in the most vulnerable period of your life is not worth your time. It sucks but, your desire for a nuclear family is better spent on a real man. A man who supports you emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. Leave before he waste anymore of your time. You're half way there you have your own place. Its a blessing in disguise. Let him leave.you can make room for personal growth and a better man to come along. I pray you have peace. The longer you stay the harder it is to leave and you baby won't know the lost because there is no attachment.
