Feeling sad - baby friends

I said how I was going to take my little one to a little park nearby at a certain time, as before there had been a nice range of ages playing there. My partner commented that he was sad our 1 year old didn't have any friends to play with. Now our 1 year old has 3 main different friends but can't see them all the time due to the other mum's going back to work and fitting it in. I know I'm not the best socially myself, but I've been really trying. I just don't know what to do. Even when I've spoken to or met people on here, they just stop talking/disappear. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm taking them to different baby classes but I feel like everyone knows each other and stays on their pairs or groups, and I feel like an outsider looking in, wishing that was me. Don't really know what I'm expecting from this, just feeling upset as I'm trying my best and just getting nowhere.

You are doing so well, please don’t worry about friends at this age!! My baby doesn’t know how to play with other babies, they learn more from observing but mostly from you and your partner. It’s probably just your partner’s beliefs coming out rather than anything to do with the baby.

I am doing well socially and often also found baby groups awkward and exactly as you describe it so again, what you’re experiencing is normal and your baby is so so lucky to have you try so hard. You’re the best mum they can have and you are enough! Sending you big hugs

What is a healthy sex life for parents?

Me and my husband have a 6 month old and a 2 year old, our days are pretty chaotic and stressful. We can get so snappy with eachother and totally loose patience, and I feel like we heavily rely on sex to bring us back together again. We have sex almost every day, and on the days we don’t I can really feel the difference in our dynamic. Other factors definitely contribute to our moods such as tiredness and work, but I worry we are potentially “using” each other subconsciously as a stress relief, although I don’t feel like he’s using me, and I don’t believe he thinks i’m using him either. We keep it fun and exciting and something to look forward to that’s just for us

Is this healthy? Is this just the season of life we’re in?

Sex drive or lack of 🤣

What are we all doing to get our sex drive back? I never had a huge one prior to kids but would occasionally feel like intimacy. I now NEVER. I almost freeze up whenever my partner try's to touch me. I know it's getting between us and it's not good, I need to change something up?! For context mt kids are 1.5 and 4.

UK Mums... Has your midwife ever gave you back the pre pot (iykyk) and told you to empty it at home and reuse it for next time? 🤣

I had my 34 week appointment today and as usual they gave me a pot to wee in. After my midwife tested my urine, she gave it back to me with the pee lol and told me to rinse it out at home and use it for the next appointment 😂 I was a little taken back and joked with my husband that the NHS must be really hurting. I know it's my pee, I just had a good laugh because here I was carting my pee pot around in my purse at Morrison's

Sex life after children 🫣

I have a 17 month old and I’m also 19 weeks pregnant after my daughter was born we kind of got our sex life back on track and I was actually starting to enjoy sex and since I’ve been pregnant, it’s been a bit harder not just with me being uncomfortable but with our toddler crying when me and him both go into the same room and she isn’t in that room we’ve tried distracting her with toys food and nothing seems to work we haven’t had sex in about five months to be honest since I found out I was pregnant 😃 and I fear this is gonna take a toll on our relationship because in my first pregnancy, we didn’t have sex for 13 months because it was too painful for me and we argued a lot during this time not because I couldn’t have sex but because we just drifted from each other but I’m also wondering how many times do people like she have sex after children ?
Any advice

Baby daddy no contact and travelling restrictions

Recently found out he’s in a new relationship which is fine but she’s been harrassing me on social media posting about me and my child she’s known to social services. My baby has been in hospital he didn’t show up or ask if she’s okay he acted like he was going to be involved at the beginning to get his last name and on the birth certificate but now ignoring all messages to do with our child and I’ve even tried medication. I’ve heard that apparently I can’t take her away without permission from him but he doesn’t respond to any message or seen baby in weeks. Any advice
