I have a 1 month old and I'm considering divorce

I wanted to divorce my husband since 2023. It's more like death by thousands cuts. It's constant neglect, invalidation, and dismissal. I have a 1 month old and and an 8yr old with him. I am thinking I should divorce him now before baby grow up and having to go through transition form 2 parents to 1. I feel I will be happier and healthier mentally and physically without him. Do you think this is rational to divorce when one of my kids is still an infant?

If it feels right to you, then yes. I made the same decision for the same reason when my daughter was about 9 months old and actually moved out when she was about 19 months. Her dad and I have been splitting custody and I am in a muuuuch better place now, so I feel like I can be a better mom for her. And as far as she’ll remember, it will have always been this way. Ultimately, I decided that I didn’t want her to think “love” and a healthy relationship look like what she was seeing between her dad and me.

We divorced when my son was 1, and it's best for all of us.
People will say you're hormonal etc but the earlier you do it you can be a more present parent and they don't remember and that's easier if you are coparent or not. It means conversations when they are old but it just is and that's easier than when they are older and have big feelings.
Especially if you've known a long time.

Good luck whatever you decide.

New Bestie, HEYYY ❤️

Okayyy so where are the women who actually want a REAL friendship? 😂🤎

I’m a wife, mama, pretty chill, a little quiet at first, love God, good conversations, laughing, coffee dates, walks and just doing life together.

I’m not looking for a huge friend group just genuine women who are intentional, drama-free and actually want to hang out eventually 😂

If that sounds like you… heyyyy bestie 👀🤎

the pill

Can anyone help? I’ve been on the Marvelon pill a while now, doctor said I can take it continuously without a break, but I keep bleeding on and off. I’ve tried the jab and Rigevidon before and had issues too 🥲 really hoping this does settle eventually! X

hey y’all ☺️

So I feel like I did a post some time ago but that was SOME time ago—my name is Lei Ani, but I go by Leia. I have a 8, soon to be 9, months old son named Jahlil. I’m currently in school for my bachelor’s in Health Sciences and I work full time as a pharmacy technician!

My hobbies are searching for a hobby 😅 but along with that I enjoy playing games and doodling (and online shopping 🫩)

I’m really low maintenance as a friend, but I love to have deep, long conversations whenever time allows! But if it doesn’t, it’s okay as long as we’re okay 🙂‍↕️ I really suck at responding on here so feel free to ask me for my socials or number if the conversation is going well!

Half marathon training

I’ve stupidly signed up for a half marathon in October when LO will be 14 months old. I’ve started training but I’ve really struggled have the energy/time to get the longer runs in. I’m running on around 6 hours of broken sleep a night, plus I’ve just gone back to work.

Anyone else survived a half marathon with very little training? 🤣

Pre-baby I could do a half on a Sunday morning for fun, but 10k just drains my battery now 🙃
