My toddler (almost 2) is going to be transitioning into the toddler classroom at daycare soon. She had her first visit and I noticed in the pictures posted that her blueberries were served whole not cut up. At home we're very big on cutting any foods that could be a choking hazard, such as blueberries and grapes. I sent an email to her new educators and kindly asked that blueberries be cut in the future. Am I too cautious? Or was emailing them the right thing to do?

Grapes I can understand cutting up, but I’ve never cut blueberries up.
I’ve squished them down so they aren’t as round, hard & slippery when my son was younger, but I’ve never went out of my way to cut blueberries personally.
