I got a four month old and i have relative who is hoarder i didn’t know it before because i came here 2 years ago she never call or invited me so no contact at all but now i have a baby and when i went inside her house my heart broke how can someone lives like that. she got disability ( she got spine issue ) she can hardly walk and she’s in severe depression. she wont let anyone near her house only me and trust me how can i help her? she’s asking me to stay night at her place with baby but i dont know i really feel bad for her and what can i do. tell me how can i clean it for her in a day its 50 bags of clothes , wood and alot of stuff

That sounds so hard! I’m not sure where you live but if you have a look online there might be some hoarding support services locally that might be able to offer you some advice or your local adult social services will likely be very experienced in this and may offer some advice to you too! If you ask how she thinks she’s doing/ managing with her disability, she may admit she needs some support if she trusts you. If she’s private and doesn’t want help maybe just suggest you have too much stuff with the baby if you were to stay and if you’re not feeling comfortable to stay after that, maybe use the baby stuff as an excuse to suggest that an area of space may need to be cleared or that you just wouldn’t be able to. It’s so hard but you and the baby may be the reason she feels open to some positive change 🤞 sending a virtual hug, I bet she appreciated your visit!
