So I started late and didn’t have my first till I was 32. I turn 33 in a couple days. My husband and I want two more, but I initially wanted to wait till our first one is potty-trained (she’s 1) before having another. But I can’t stop this nagging feeling that we should just go for it now due to the fact that I’m gonna keep aging anyway, and if we wanna meet that goal of 3 kids i don’t want to make it harder on my body than it already will be. We didn’t have any trouble getting pregnant the first time. Does anyone have experience as far as having this many kids a bit older? How hard is the transition from 1 to 2 to 3 kids? Thanks!

I got pregnant with my first at 30 and just had my second now after almost 4 years.
Shift from 1 to 2 isn’t as overwhelming as 0 to 1 but my body is definitely different and not in a good way. I’m more tired, physically more challenged and my weight and skin and hair haven’t yet got back to prepregnanct (it did quickly the first time)
Altho it’s a lot easier when first kid is a bit older (you can reason with them, distract them etc) i think potty trained wasnt always a plus (diaper gives you the control otherwise you’re making stops and what not to fit their schedule)
So yea, go for it! I think it’s impossible to parent these days and it’s sheer will power that makes us good moms lol. So if you want it, you’ll make it work :)

My advice is do it especially if you have your husbands support! I’m 32 had my third baby 9 months ago x

Hey hun, I had my 1st 3 weeks before my 35th birthday, planned to get pregnant and have 2 under 2, 1st was 7 months when I got pregnant with my 2nd which I had at 36 and 2 months, they are 15 months apart. We want a 3rd for sure but planning to have a slightly larger gap of 20 months between 2nd and 3rd so before I turn 37. FYI, my 2nd pregnancy was so much better than my 1st! You will be fine xx

I had my first at 31 and second 16 months later at 32. 2 under 2 was so rough but worth it, it took a while to get to a good place. Honestly I’d say go for it if you have a good support system.
I’m 35 pregnant with my third and this is the hardest pregnancy by far. Idk if I could do this later into my thirties if I’m honest, and I’m actually in shape and active this time around.
