Funny smell from end of incision

Hi ladies I'm nearly 3 weeks post c section and noticed the end of my scar is very slightly wet and a funny smell from it. Do I go to triage for this or my GP? I think triage will see me up to 6 weeks?

Hey, when mine was bad that’s what they told me to look out for as that’s signs of infection. I’d go to triage. Yes up to 6 weeks the wait is long but better to get treated before it gets worse. Xx

I went to the GP and they gave me antibiotics just incase I had an infection and fungal cream. Turns out it was a fungal skin infection 🥲 it cleared up within a few days tho x

Think gp or walk in centre should be fine! I went to both when mine was similar / red and was given antibiotics to start with incase it became an infection. Could also just be a sweat rash too, I’m 9 months pp and still get really sweaty on my incision because of my over hang xx

Do we think this name is a bit too common?

When I was pregnant with my son, Margot was up there as one of the girls names we both liked but I can’t work out if it’s too popular/obvious. (We live in SW London for reference)

Coil fitted during planned section

Has anyone had experience of having a coil put in during a planned c section? Any pros or cons I should know about? I've never had a coil before

Early gender scan

I got a early gender scan at 16 weeks and was told it was a girl. I’m just nervous that at my 20 week scan they will tell me it’s a boy. Has this happened to anyone else before.

Has anyone actually had a positive induction?! Ive never heard of 1!

Please tell me if you have experienced a positive induction, what week you were when induced and why you were induced. Ive not heard a single good story
My induction would only be due to being too far overdue.

Chosen hospital

I was told at my first midwife appointment that I can choose what hospital I would like to have my baby at explaining I wanted Broomfield. Now at 29 weeks I’ve asked about having my baby at Broomfield hospital in Chelmsford where I had my first. But have been declined and will have to have my baby at Colchester where I live. The childcare we have for my first for when I give birth is in Chelmsford and we need to drop him off. I really do not want to have my baby at Colchester and I’m at a loose end of where to find help on what to do. I’ve had a different midwife at all of my appointments so far and just feel as though I’m not getting the support and help that I need. If anyone knows of what to do or where to ask for help that would be much appreciated, it’s causing me lots of anxiety & stress 😣
