Colic

When did your babies get better? My baby has colic and reflux. She’s 3 months now and I feel like her crying just got worse instead of better. Im hanging on by a thread at this point.

My son has reflux and CMPA. They prescribed famodadine (Pepcid) once a day and it’s helped us ALOT! Not sure if your lil one is on it but it has been helpful so far and trying to keep him upright for longer after feeds. Burping a lot in between feeds too!

My daughter had colic until she was 6 months old when we switched her to formula. Something about/in my milk upset her. We never figured out why. Did everything go figure it out, even both did the skin prick test, but nothing came back correlating. Was very very hard.

It should stop completely by 6 months. And its not the contents of the breatmilk itself colic is a build up of milk, youve got to remember the stomachs are small and their digestion is immature so they find it hard to process things. Id suggest if you havent already getting some gaviscon from your doctor. I was also told drinking mint tea is very good to help babies digest.

I used boiron camilia homeopathic drops and it helped tremendously, mine was teething very early and was generally feeling fussy and uncomfortable for a while.

Baby has not pooped on 9 days

Has anyone has this experience? My baby is 6weeks old. He has not pooped in 9 days. I have seen the GP 3 times and their recommendation is to let him poop on his own as the laxatives are too strong for him.
I do the usual tummy rub and bicycle exercise. But he just farts alot.

Wake window issue

My 7 week old has been awake for 3 hours now, she shows no signs of being tired. Does anyone else have these issues especially in the evening? How have you handled it?

Husband swears (however he stopped) but son already picked up the F word. How can I stop my son from saying the word?

Hi moms. Yesterday, my son swore in a bus full of people when his dad yanked him from his seat (roughly) as we were getting off. I felt so embarrassed as I don’t swear at all and today a teacher at nursery told me in confidence that 3 other children have been swearing as they have heard it from my son.I took away his favourite toys and don’t plan on giving them to him until I see changed behaviour.I don’t care if it takes 3 months. Is this extreme? What else can I do to explain that we shouldn’t use that word? I have explained it’s a bad word and other parents won’t want to arrange play dates because they won’t want their kids emulating his behaviour. He is 3.5,very smart and understands everything.
