Due a planned c section soon due to a severe tear in my last birth with lasting damage to my pelvic muscles.
How was your recovery? Really worried about coping with a toddler.

It’s painful 😣 but it’s manageable with the correct pain meds and a scheduled plan for taking the tablets properly so you can manage the pain. Also hold your belly when you either sneeze or cough or fart if you can😂😢 🤦♀️ because it’s painful after a c section when any of them occur lol, ovbs you need rest but you can still do your daily tasks just take your time if you can slowly and surely you’ll recover nicely xx hope this helps

I had a c section with my first. I'll be having it again. It was planned at 39 weeks. I had the c section and went to recovery while my son went to the NICU because he had a neural tube defect. 24 hours after the c section I said I'm fine I don't need pain meds anymore because it didn't hurt. Healing was really good. Just make sure to keep the area clean. Pop soap on the top of your belly and let the shower water rinse over. Not directly on the wound, put the shower where the soap is on top of your belly and let it run down with soap and dab dry. The only problem was stairs, standing, and lifting for the first week was a bit tricky but I just took paracetamol x
