Anybody else had 2 sections? I’m absolutely terrified to the point it’s keeping me awake at night thinking of all the risks and stuff

Had my second c section 4 months ago and I was the same. I had what can only be described as a mental break down mid spinal and they turnt the radio up really high and we jammed out to music. 😅

I had two sections just under 3 years apart. Both went well, I still felt extremely nervous and worried second time around. But I feel like the recovery was quicker the second time but I guess thats because you already have a little one to look after. I can honestly say both were good experiences. 😀 you'll be in safe hands.

I had 2 sections as well for my two babies
I think the second one took a bit longer to heal and was more painful than the first

Had two i think second was easier BUT it keeps getting sore my first didnt get sore at all x

Had my second section 4 weeks ago, first time was emergency and second one was optional I healed so much quicker the second time round I can’t recommend enough to just get up and walk around as soon as you can after the procedure it’s painful but the best thing you can do for a quicker recovery! Xx

I’m having a third c section in 2 weeks and dreading the op & recovery ❤️🩹 😭 but it WILL be ok!!! The risks are there, but they are low. C sections are performed daily, focus on your breathing. Take pain medication on time. Rest and small steps in the first couple of weeks and we’ll be back before we know it. We’ve done it before. And we can do it again 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

I had 2 c sections- first was an emergency section and the second was elective. Can only have electives unfortunately but I actually threw up the morning of because I was so nervous. It was the fact of the epidural and not having gas and air like I did in my emergency one. But honestly once that was in I was absolutely fine and was actually able to get up and about quicker than my emergency one. The only other thing I found was sickness. I kept feeling sick on the table but they sorted me out straight away. Just keep them updated on how you’re feeling as they can give you extra drugs or anti sickness in my case. Honestly I would do it all again in a heart beat! All the best girly!♥️

I've had 4 and the recovery got easier each time. 💜

I’m only 16 weeks and already thinking about how much of a wreck I’m going to be when I have mine. First was a category 1 emergency under general anaesthetic so even though it was the most traumatic experience ever, I had to put to sleep for it and was unaware of a lot of what was going on. Adrenaline definitely numbed me during that one too!

I've had a elective csection due to breech (2013) vbac (2018) then emergency csection (2025)
