(Third baby / two previous spontaneous labours).
I am spiralling.
37+5 and went in for reduced movements yesterday. Had a scan today and baby is transverse.
They want to do an ECV on Thursday at 38 weeks to get baby head down (obvs with risk), and then if successful they want to break my waters so she cannot move again (and will either go into labour or need induction). If unsuccessful, they want to schedule a section.
Please please please give me a positive story that doesn’t result in days long labour / c section 😭😭
I know ultimately the most important thing is getting baby out safely, however I am absolutely petrified of the thought of both induction/c section.
They have said if I don’t have the ECV the likelihood of her going down on her own now is low and may need emergency c section anyway 🥺

I would try spinning babies before the ECV 🤞🏽

I was in this position some weeks ago, then I opted for CS as i was so scared of the ECV since i heard might still lead to emergency CS. Went back home tried spinning baby with some videos I saw on tiktok, then used the ice water thingy. Few days later baby went head down till now. So I'll suggest you do some spinning babies
