Labour approaching?

TMI… 38 weeks and 3 days today, diarrhoea constantly today 4 times in 4 hours, last night had a lot of pressure in pelvis and rectum again for about half an hour, did anyone else get bad diarrhoea and did labour follow it if so how long after?

Everyone is different Lots of people have loose stools before baby comes as your body likes to clear itself out.
Mine started getting loose a few days before.
If you want them to come soon worked for me was.
Curb walking on both legs
Bouncing on a ball.
Quite hard nipple stimulation - this helped re trigger my contractions when they slowed down.
Sex - we tries but was uncomfortable but sperm has prostaglandins which can trigger contractions.

Personally, that's exactly what happened to me the same night my water started to trickle! 😅 I thought I just kept peeing a little bit every few minutes but I knew it could be my waters breaking, so I put on a pad and after a couple hours of having to change it a few times, I called the triage and they told me to come in, and yes, it was my waters slowly breaking! Luckily I did empty out my bowels that night pretty well, I went 4-5 really good ones that night and didn't have to go again all day during labour up until the day after my baby came. Oh I'm so excited for you, congratulations! 🥰 I hope everything goes smoothly for yooou! 💜

Too late for C section?

Hey everyone, so I’m 39 weeks today and I’ve become really frightened about having a vaginal birth. I’m worried that I’ll panic when labour becomes painful because I have a very low pain tolerance. I don’t feel that I can cope with a vaginal birth the closer it’s getting and feel like I’d maybe like to request a planned C-section. Do you think this is still possible or have I left it too late? I feel as though I will panic so much I won’t be able to push and will end up having a c section anyway.

Confused

Hi ladies! So I’m at L&D triage right now because I’m showing signs of early labor. Yesterday I experienced 10 contractions from 10:58pm to 11:58pm. I’ve experienced a few contractions since being here but not like yesterday. Me and baby are being monitored and everything is good. I was told my cervix is closed but they’ll monitor me for a couple more hours to see if anything changes and if so they’ll keep me.
What could this mean? I am in early labor or is it just my body playing tricks on me. Because my water hasn’t broken and I haven’t lost my mucus plug so that’s good

Is there something you randomly think of and laugh while going to sleep?

I often think of my husbands work having them take professional pictures and for some reason they had him take off his glasses. What is this a passport? Because he had no glasses on his eyes looked sort of strange (being literally blind) and we are almost 100 percent sure whomever edited the picture flipped his eyes upside down lmao. I almost peed myself looking at the picture and because he doesn't know what he looks like with no glasses on he just thought he has really weird eyes lmao.

Moving House with Newborn

When you have just had a baby and you get a completion date to move house this Friday (baby will be 2 weeks 2 days). The only words are shattered and overwhelmed. Any one else done this before?😰
