Riding my last appointment my midwife told me I needed to go for the 28 week blood tests at the hospital. Do I book this or will I get something through?

I just turned up, my local hospital has a walk-in walk-out service. Walk in, talk to the receptionist, get a little ticket number, and wait to be called. I was in and out in less than five minutes

I wondered the same but it’s on you to organise these, either a drop in at your hospital which I did, or sometimes go appointment can do them. But they don’t organise the appointment. X

I think it depends, my 28 weeks blood test was booked in for the same time as my gestational diabetes test (but not everyone has a diabetes test). It could be worth ringing your midwife’s, she could always do it from there.
