My baby is 7.5 weeks old and I'm tired. Every nap is a battle, she won't go down without a fight and I have a toddler who also needs attention through the day. Please someone tell me this gets better? I don't know how much longer I can shush, rock and be screamed at multiple times a day ๐

Baby wearing is a life saver when you have a toddler! Might be worth looking into local sling libraries near you as you can loan and try xx

Also second baby wearing. Itโs the only way I can do anything with a toddler and baby. He does pretty much all naps in it unless Iโm home alone and we can lay on the sofa!

I feel the same, she screams in a carrier and sling too and can't hold a dummy in her mouth herself. I'm hoping it gets better.

Same boat at 8.5 weeks - I have no clue how to get baby to sleep unless she falls asleep on the boob :( had a little cry about that just now, so Id also like to know if it gets easier...
I tend to have her in the sling for the bigger naps but it's tricky when the toddler wants to cuddle and be carried too. She naps in her rocker for around 30mins at a time but that's not enough as she then wakes up irritated ๐ any light at the end of the tunnel...? Lol

I don't even put mine down for a nap, I just go with whenever she might be fall asleep herself and if she doesnt, she just has to stay awake and work around me and me and my toddler.
I was so hung up on naps and routines with my 1st when he was a baby, I'm not doing it this time. If she's that tired, she'll sleep, if she doesn't and screams and I'm busy with my toddler then she'll just have to wait, just like he does if I'm busy with the baby.
Sounds harsh, but it's working for us xx
