Where are your 4mo at?!

What are your 4 month olds doing developmentally & how are their motor skills?? My little man turned 4mo on the 7th & he has really good head control when being held & lifts his trunk pretty good during tummy time. He isn’t quite sitting yet but he can stay stable for a few secs-mins until he topples over or starts to slouch. He starting to kick during tummy time & when provided he pushes off of my hand or my leg or really anything lol. I’ve seen so many 4mo olds start to kind of scoot (almost crawl) etc. I wanna know where yall are at! 😊

My little girl is about the same, although she’s discovered how to scoot round on her back (more moving along the floor in a circle)

Mines an inch worm she gets off my mat if I’m not looking. Pushes her butt up with her feet then pushes forward. She got little interest in sitting so she just falls over if I sit her up. She just wants to be on her tummy. She even sleeps that way now too.

We're starting to get lots of super-man posing during tummy time (all limbs off the ground lol) and she'll put her butt on the air on occasion too. Definitely squirmy like she wants to roll over during bed time.

Mostly though lots of hand and mouth action. Grabbing all cups/glasses/bottles I'm using, reaching for my fork of food during dinner. Sticking everything in her mouth and chomping on it! I'm worried our dogs might be her next victims 😂

4/23 flips from belly to back, does Superman pose on his belly too. He can only roll onto his side from his back, not full roll yet. He can hold toys now but he hasn’t quite mastered it. His little hands are getting to work. He’s a giggler too. I feel like he’s a little ahead of where my daughter was at this stage. It’s so interesting and fun to see how they all do different things on their own time.

Baby boy born 🩵

Hey ladies , I’ve had nearly 2 weeks of my boy now and I’ve realised I’ve not checked in on here at all . My boy was born 30th July at 3.44 weighing 6 pound 4 ! He was born 37+3 .

He had a tough start and came out extremely bruised , the doctors said they have never seen anything like it 🙈 but he’s all okay now and very content .

Thank you everyone for all your help and advice over the last 9 months .

40+6 and still pregnant

This is my first baby, I am currently 40+6 and its really starting to get to me and just cant stay positive anymore.

I was really hoping for natural labour but I am starting to loose hope it will actually happen, and have been crying a lot for the past 2 days, as I just feel so defeated. She’s also measuring on 90th percentile and every extra day she’s there I worry that once it comes to it will be too much to handle, and my end up in emergency c-section.

I’ve got induction booked for Sunday (I’ll be 41+3) and part of me is relieved there is finally end date for this pregnancy, and part of me still wishes that the little one decides to surprise me by then, and even asking myself if I should give her even more time?

I guess this just a rant, as just needed to get it out there, and hopefully some can relate?

Finding out the gender???

Hey lovelies,

My partner wants to find the gender out but I don't want to. He won't be at the scan due to work. Would you find the gender out to please him or stick to your guns and not find out.

I want the surprise but I also don't want other people knowing even if I did find out... oh and he can't keep a secret (especially from his mum and she has a right big gob on her so everyone would know).

Eden boy name?

Hi I really love the name Eden but knowing my husband family genetics everyone only has boys. I’m wanting to name my future child Eden whether it a girl or boy, but I live in England and I don’t know if it will be odd for a boy to be named that.
