Hi ladies,
I don’t know if it’s just me, but since having my baby 15 weeks ago, I’ve noticed I’m now a bit “slow”, where I can’t figure out things I used to be able to. I used to be the one who fixes things, a DIY queen, could figure anything out, but now I feel like my brain just doesn’t work the way it used to! I literally don’t baby wear, because I have no clue how to do the straps and buckles on my carrier which is something I would have known how to do before baby. I have to ask my hubby for help with the straps and buckles or I can’t figure it out (even with videos!).
I can’t put together toys that need assembling, I couldn’t figure out how to strap baby in her stroller the other day, I can’t do the buckles for her car seat on my own (my hubby does it for me). It is really embarrassing and alarming, because I’ve always prided myself on being smart, but I feel like an airhead now, LITERALLY.
I know they say your brain shrinks by 60% during pregnancy, but I didn’t know it would be so blatant and obvious. Anyone else dealing with this?? Should I be worried?? Does it eventually go away??

I read an article, I’ll see if I can find it. But I was struggling really bad with the brain fog. My husband was constantly getting his feelings hurt, feeling like I was never listening to him. But your brain is rewiring itself tailored to hone in on your babies needs and in turn, it dulls your mental sharpness in other areas.
I try to not be too hard on myself, remind myself that it will get better
