Hey momma! All those feelings I think we’ve all felt especially as first time moms. Sometimes it’s because we have too much on our plates. Is there anyone who can help you? Any family?

Try a swaddle, quiet room, paci, baby swing or bouncer? When my baby is sleepy, I’ve learned he sleeps better when I’m not holding him

Ours just turned 5 months and he has complete FOMO. His naps during the day only last about half an hour..so it is practically impossible to get things done. We are apparently velcro parents (which i have come to believe isnt really a thing) , but I suffer from p.p.a. and on top of that I believe we are going through a sleep regression and growth spurt. So no rest for the wicked in this house. Im told it gets better. We just need to be strong. Tits up momma, you got this too.

You are absolutely not alone, mama ❤️ I know it feels so overwhelming when your baby is fighting sleep and you’re doing everything you can to help him, but please don’t feel like you’re failing him. I remember how exhausting those days can be, especially when you’re already running on empty. Sometimes babies just go through these phases and it feels like nothing you do is right. Give yourself some grace. You’re doing your best, and the fact that you’re this worried about him shows how much you love him.❤️
I let my son tell me when he is ready to nap… maybe not the best advice, but it works for us! He starts rubbing his eyes or pulling on his ear. He gets a bottle, a little Mrs. Rachel, then sound machine and lights out. I just keep going in and laying him down and giving him his binky if he’s fighting sleep.

Hey I'm a first time mom too! My baby is 5 months..I've heard that it's a time at 4-7 months where baby's have sleep regressions because their transitioning to getting bigger..you can do this mama! Routine is great ..try to let him cry it out 3-5 min then check on him. Or maybe try to to put a your shirt & a pillow next to him so he thinking your still with him during nap time..something that soothes him. My baby naps only last about 10 min 🥲I'm with you girl !

I think its totally fair that you are feeling lonely and struggling with 6 month behaviors. Follow the 3-6-9 rule when it comes to growth and development. 6 months is a huge development milestone so naps become shorter and sleep is harder as they try to work out new development skills their brain is creating! I found that is when our stroller nap saga began (he literally only naps in the stroller walks most days) help him whatever way your able and know that its temporary

My daughter is almost 6 months old and I found that contact naps help the best. I wrap her in a blanket and press her to my chest. It helps to calm her down
