Real talk. Has anyone ever sued Advent health hospital and won for medical malpractice?

My c section was a nightmare, they let me loose over 1,300 in blood and kept telling my husband i was fine, they ignored my concerns about the medications given and dropped my blood pressure into the 60s causing me to almost pass out during the c section, they inserted the catheter wrong which caused it not to be able to drain my bladder and caused massive pain, they ignored me multiple times until I was begging for them to check me then finally noticed i hemorrhaged on the postpartum unit, I was given no blood…..was verbally abused by techs who were annoyed if I asked for help out of bed the day after my c section, while being discharged I asked multiple times if the nurse could check me because the blood smelled weird she said I was fine and overreacting, she forced me to decline my postpartum depression screening test saying my score was high and it would be too much work to get me help! And threw the test in the trash! At my one week postpartum appointment I complained about pain and feeling sick and no one listened there was redness near the incision but the obgyn said it’s fine. 2 weeks postpartum I went to the emergency room with a 102 fever and found that I had a massage abscess and was on the brick of septic shock! I was kept in the hospital for 2 weeks then told they “shrank the abscess enough” and sent home with antibiotic pills, only 2 weeks later I started bleeding heavily and having fevers and nausea again I went back to the emergency room and they found another abscess and admitted me again. The obgyn who did my c section came into my hospital room mad at me saying I was there for a painful period and was wasting a bed didn’t even read my chat! I had to get a specialist to get a mri of my abdomen to find out I had multiple abscesses even one growing in my uterus muscle! I had to have 4 and a half hours of laparoscopic surgery to get everything fixed! They tried to put a drain line in to drain one abscess and during that surgery they overdosed me and had to use narcam the only thing that surgeon would say is “better to give too much than too little” that was in January 2025 I still have nightmares and my husband has had to wake me because I’m crying in my sleep begging the doctors to stop hurting me! Please I’m begging you to help me get justice not just for myself but for my family! I have videos, pictures, records, and even a letter from my therapist saying I have trauma from all of this. This all started in November of 2024, I have tried multiple law firms no one wants to take my case. Please help me

Universal credit question

Hi mums!

I’m planning on going back to work part time so 20 hours due to childcare issues so can’t go full time. I am on universal credit & getting housing benefit from it too. Just wondering would me going part time affect my universal credit payments. Would it reduce ? Has any other mums gone part time that’s on universal credit. I’ve had some people tell me I’m better off not working & staying on UC as me being part time would be the same income as universal credit takes some off from it.

Money advice please!

I am currently 15 weeks pregnant and both me and my partner work full time. We have a house together and we split the bills 50/50. Due to a recent job change, he earns less than me and hasn’t been able to save anything since we moved house. When I am on maternity leave, my earnings will drop and it isn’t enough to cover the mortgage and bills for the house and his earnings won’t cover it either. I have some savings that I’ll have to use but it will mean that my years of sacrifice and saving up before we even met, will all be spent and the financial support will be provided by me only. I’m struggling to accept this and I don’t know if I’m being petty thinking about money this way when this is OUR child yet it’s all my savings to be able to support that child.

Abandoned

I grew up with a kinda distant mom and when I met my husband, his mom was such a warm "mommy" type of mom. She was a SAHM for her 3 kids and did all the mom things etc. She is from another country and over the years we have paid her rent back home and supported her as she didn't have a job and has lupus. When I was pregnant, she was so excited because it's her first grandchild. She said she wanted to live with us full time and help with the baby which was a dream come true for me. I did all her paperwork and got her her greencard and got her a job with my mom and got her health insurance etc. Long story short, I SET HER UP WITH A DREAM LIFE. I have always supported her emotionally and anything she needed, I would help her get. If she wanted to plan for her future or had a certain goal, I would create budgets for her or help her plan so she could reach her goals.

After i had the baby and our night nurse was done and we were really relying on her so I could go back to work, Little by little she became complacent and distant and would fight with my husband (which in her defense, he can be grumpy and roll his eyes and do that kind of super annoying semi disrespectful stuff). She would threaten to leave which was so stressful for me.

I would cry to her and explain that I was the breadwinner and I HAD TO work so that our mortgage could get paid and that we couldn't afford childcare and I showed her the numbers etc. I also tried to explain that she couldn't afford to live on her own here. (She has never lived on her own and really doesn't understand what is needed for her to do that or what I need to do to support our family and household. She would agree to stay and then it would start all over again a week or so later.

One day, I came home from work and she was gone, she had secretly found and rented a room and left (without any of her things and then made my husband pack her stuff and bring it to her)... I had 2 days to try and find childcare. I couldn't cover 2 of my evenings at work for the first week and I ended up getting fired because "I couldn't do my job without reliable childcare." Because I lost my job, I lost the HELOC i was just approved for so we could expand my son's tiny bedroom and create our forever home. My whole life has been completely upended and there is no getting it back.

She hasn't spoken to me in months. She keeps asking my husband to see my son and I just can't do it. I'm so deeply hurt. I can't do it.

Am I wrong here?
