I have a 7 month old and I’m really struggling with our days! She doesn’t nap a lot now and needs a lot of entertaining in the day. We do play at home a lot she has lots of toys etc but I need to get out! We had been going to a couple of classes but they’ve either stopped or changed for the summer hols, we go to the deep once a week. Recently she has decided she hates the pram and screams after about 5 minutes but will happily be in the baby carrier which is great but it’s been far too hot for both of us for her to be in there for a long period of time. She has not set routine so can easily just come with me wherever I need to go the problem is I have nothing to do either haha, my maternity pay has just dropped so I can’t just be spending money either. I would just like a reason to leave the house once a day and wondering what other people are doing with their days?
I think this has just hit me this week as we have nothing to look forward to and I’m aware my money will be tight until the end of the year and I’ve had no adult conversations haha!

So hard! Went through the same with the pram and needing to put her in the carrier. The heat is worrying with body heat and pram and most prams are dark coloured so attract the heat anyway. There is an art related one on Wednesdays at 10.30 am at Humber street gallery I have heard of.

Hey, I also have a 7 month old and spend most of my time in the house with no adult conversation, also know the struggles of mat pay just not being enough!
We go to the family hub in Barton a few times a week for different sessions they have on like first friends and messy play.
