1st birthday parties!!🎉🥳

I know I’m a little early.. but what are we all doing for our little ones 1st birthday parties?! I’m so stuck on what to do. I was thinking of hiring a hall or a social club room for a couple hrs and having a small soft play? But now I’m stumped! Would love to hear what everyone is thinking?! X

I'm stuck what to do aswell! Also thinking of hiring a hall with soft play but theres also a wide age range of kids in the family so don't know whether to cater for them too or if that just becomes overwhelming for LO 😭

Was thinking the same as you hiring the village hall or in my case the community centre and then hiring a soft play and bouncy castle and having a buffet out just thought saves me cleaning up my house after 😅

Keeping it simple over here. Day out just me, my girl and my husband on her birthday. Then a ‘tea party’ at home with family another day x

I was planning on hiring somewhere with hiring soft play and borrowing a bouncy castle and doing a joint 1st and 4th party for my 1st born and 3rd born as theres 5 weeks between the two birthdays and saves family which have to travel to travel for both

I’m just doing a little tea party with a couple of my friends that have babies around the same age, but I also have a 3 year old who will be turning 4 2 weeks after my babe is one so we are doing a soft play party for him and she will obviously be there too xx

Painful sex?

I’m 8 weeks post c section and have tried to have sex twice but it’s extremely painful around the opening and also a sharp pain deep inside. Has anyone else experienced this and does it get better?

What are you all doing in this heat?!

Just wondering what you’re all managing to do in this heatwave to keep sane and not feel cooped up?! I’m managing to get out for an early walk with my 6 week old in the pram, but feeling incredibly limited during the rest of the day due to the heat and walking/ getting anywhere comfortably with my baby! Anyone else feeling this way?

Prayers and advice

Hey guys, this is my first post on here so be gentle lol I took my son to his nine month check up. Everything was going great and they measured his head like 2 to 3 times and they ended up coming back to me after the checkup and the doctor ended up putting in orders to do an MRI and your anesthesia for his brain. I’m freaking out. I ended up having a pretty bad delivery with him. The doctor said his head is bigger than her body guys. I need some advice. I already have the MRI scheduled, but I just need some advice and some prayers.

Sleep anxiety

Anybody else pregnant and just so sleep deprived you feel like you're going insane?

I've got majorly bad sleep anxiety as it is and im getting about 3/4 hours every night. im exhausted! I work full time and have a nearly 6 year old as well. I'm bursting out into tears a lot, cant think rationally, forgetting everything, snapping at everyone, my energy levels are shocking can hardly help with the housework and cooking so naturally, we're all eating shit and the house is disgusting. My partner helps best he can but he works full time also and its a physical job 🤷‍♀️

What can I do to help my sleep? I've got a pregnancy pillow which doesn't seem to help and the weather probably isn't helping either. Desperate at this point 😅
