We're averaging 1-2 times per week. What about you? I thought this was normal but my husband just told me we're not having enough sex. We have a 24 month old and a 12 week old I thought we were doing decent considering....am I wrong?
This has been the average since my son was born 2 years ago.

You are, but it's okay for him to express he'd like it more
Think of something he could do to support you, so you'd have the space/will to do it more often. Let you sleep in more? Take over responsibility for a particular housework? Take over a task with the kids?

Wow his expectations are shocking! You’re 3 months postpartum, you’re still very freshly healing ffs!
He needs to reevaluate his priorities. I hope you’re not feeling pressured into meeting his expectations and that you’re being kind to yourself while looking after little ones and healing post birth.
I’m 2.5 years postpartum and now 12 weeks pregnant. I can count on two hands the amount of times we’ve had sex since conceiving my first. Priorities change.

I agree with your body is still healing so pushing for more when you are caring for 2 children under 2 is wild.
We go through stages (our daughter is 4). Sometimes it's multiple times a week and others it's nothing for a month or more, sometimes 2)

You are definitely doing decently considering. Please don’t put pressure on yourself to have sex if you don’t want it. It eventually leads to burnout. Having a toddler and a newborn is not easy x

We are very hit and miss in our frequency which is what years of infertility, ivf, finally getting pregnant, then having a child, then trying for a second and having ivf again will do.
I’m hoping one day we will get back to having sex with some regularity just because we want to. I’m the one with a higher sex drive though, but there’s no way I would have managed it 12 weeks postpartum!

Once a week is very regular for someone with two babies and so freshly postpartum
Maybe there’s other ways to feel more connected but together now you are in trenches - he’s allowed to want more in the long term but feeling pressure is not ok
