Nearly 3yo saying they don’t love mummy

My little boy is nearly 3, he constantly says I don’t love you mummy, usually after I’ve said good night love you, or something similar. I totally know he doesn’t understand love at this age at all and it’s just a phrase to him atm, but it’s really beginning to upset me which i know sounds silly, but he only ever does it to me he says love you to his daddy and brother

Maybe he’s trying to push the boundaries and he sees you as safe enough to do this with. He probably thinks his Dad would reject him if he said he didn’t love him but he doesn’t think you’ll reject him so he’s trying out saying ‘I don’t love you’.

Sounds so stupid, because I’ve never experienced this before but have you asked him why? Or maybe where he’s heard it? Like has he seen it on telly and he’s just copying it maybe? I get like he might not be able to fully explain why but you may be able to work out where it comes from. Tell him it’s a nasty thing to say as well, and that it’s upsets you. He needs to know his words have consequences and then he may understand what he’s doing a bit better - again I appreciate he’s only 3 x

I am not making it up

So my daughter is now two months old and about 14days old, she was five weeks early, so any way I was told by my last HV appointment she should start smiling, I was like ok but in her own time, I know babies will do things in their own time, last week I began to notice her trying to smile and yesterday I leaned over her cot to give her a morning kis and she smiled at me and fell asleep, when she was a awake she smiled at me while I dressed her, this morning she smiled again and tired to get photos, these are her smiling aren't they, I was letting her do in her own time but I didn't know if premature babies have some catching up to do because they are premature but please tell the truth is she starting to smile

Anyone else just had their already difficult because of the heat, bedtime RUINED because of those government alerts 🥴🫪

Failed the transfer & had 45 minutes of screaming, then finally dozing off & those alerts go off! Startled the baby & we are back to screaming again 🫠🫠🫠

Feeding during heatwave

Wanting other mums opinions…
I have a 3 month old baby which I formula feed.
Between feeds would you offer your baby a few sips of water inbetween as we’re in a heatwave, or do you just offer more feeds?
At the moment as it’s so hot I don’t want him to get dehydrated so I fed every 3 hours. Is that enough or not?

Do children with noise sensitivity always have ASD or can it be a phase?

She’s 3 doesn’t like loud noises, or repetitive noises. Easily startled to the point where me and my husband can’t shout for each other in separate rooms. Wont wear headphones because she doesn’t like them. Doesn’t like when people say bye also. Currently waiting on a referral for a hearing test.

The heat.. what do I do

My baby has a fan in his room & the window open but the Tommee tippee egg still says it’s 27 degrees🥴
He’s only in a nappy but is there anything I can do to make the room cool down more before I go to bed?

It’s reached 25/26 before and he’s been fine but walking into his room is like a sauna it’s ridiculous - ours isn’t much better.

People are telling me to bottle feed!!!!

I’m exclusively breastfeeding and I keep getting comments saying I should express my milk and bottle feed. I really don’t want to. Does anybody else find people comment on this?
