Private scansšŸ¤°šŸ¼

Did anyone else pay for more than 1 private scan🫣 I’ve just had my first which showed the heartbeat and really would like to get another in 2 weeks as I know the growth is massive in that time and looks way more like a baby! (First baby)
We will be obviously getting the 12 and 20 week on the NHS and then a private gender scan at 15 weeks.

With my first I had about 3 private scansšŸ˜‚ especially as she got bigger because I got to see her in 3D/ 4D. 🄰

i had 2. 1 at 10 weeks as i was going on holiday and knew i needed a scan to be able to enjoy my holiday then i had another at 16 weeks to find out the gender

My pregnancy became high-risk at the end so I got scans at every dr appointment, otherwise I had planned to get a private one done

I did like 3 or 4 and the 4D one 🄰

Yes, we went twice. Have as many as you want! Would’ve booked more, but as a cardiology patient and being high risk the NHS scanned me every month after 16wks šŸ’›

Definitely recommend getting a private scan in 3rd trimester the 3d/4d scans at that stage are so cute

Braxton Hicks

What on earth are they suppose to feel like?
I've had moments of light cramps in lower area, right by the pelvis, like period pain. And the belly gets hard but not very uncomfortable.

Are the hicks supposed to be painful?

???

Driving after c-section (UK)

Just wondering what others have done/doing? Feel stuck šŸ™„

I’m almost 4weeks PP. Insurance says as long as doc says I’m medically fit I don’t need to tell them. And DVLA say they don’t need to know as long as recovery isn’t over 3month.

Doc says they don’t know what do to… they asked me to ring DVLA & insurance to ask what they need lol. God sake haha.

Anyone choosing c-section for personal reasons, how was the process with NHS?

Long story short I am terrified of vaginal labour and birth and always knew I was going to opt in for planned c-section. I have no medical reasons, just personal anxiety. I have been referred to speak to a midwife about birthing options - how should I approach this meeting? I have heard NHS likes to push back heavily on this if you do not have medical reasons, however I know it is MY choice to make. Wondering what attitude I should bring to this meeting.

Clear blue weeks indicator

I’m 5 weeks + 3 and I keep getting 1-2 on the clear blue weeks indicator. I’m not sure if I should be panicking or not.

I am officially DONE being pregnant🄲

39 weeks, I haven’t even been on maternity leave for a week yet & I’m already bored stiff just waitinggg. Every day feels like a year.
I can’t stand the fact that I could possibly go over due when I’m struggling this much. To think I could have 3 more weeks ahead of me ??? Oh lord😩how is everyone coping?
The pelvic pain, the back pain, the nausea, the insomnia with no newborn to snuggle, the heartburn, the breathlessness, the digestion issues, the hormonal breakouts (my skin hasn’t looked like this since I was 14, where is this ā€˜glow’ ?🧐🤣).
I’m sick of it. I’m trying to keep busy and distract myself but I’ve ran out of things to do. How are we all getting by?
