Overdue

Hi all

1st pregnancy PPROM and bleeding and emergency c section at 37 weeks

Currently 4 days overdue with 2nd I’m so glad I made it and didn’t have same complications but now finding myself barraged with pressure to have induction etc.

I’m aiming for as natural as possible since my 1st was so full of medical intervention

My Q is I’ve had pains but v v irregular and also wetness 3 or 4 times the past 48 hrs once with a tinge of pink … but then nothing

I’m not sure if the wetness is waters Vs clear discharge? it’s definitely not pee

Does anyone have experience of this and does anyone think a midwife would a midwife agree to a cervical check minus a sweep or a swab to check if waters have gone ??

I’m worried to go see one incase there’s yet more pressure to be induced

lil bit worried

hi, i had my 20 week anatomy scan friday, and they said the baby's head is measuring small and that I need to see a specialist. a scan has been arranged this Wednesday, they said theyd like me to be seen sooner rather than later, so have to travel to a different city, for a fetal medicine ultrasound scan. has anyone had this before? I feel slightly worried tbh!

Idk the gender 🩵🩷

Had my last scan at 20 weeks and not required anymore. However they couldn’t clarify the gender of the baby. Now I feel I need to pay for a private scan to find out gender or is there any way around this? Private scans are so expensive.

Anyone else

Anyone else had soft scoop ice cream (ice cream van) completely forgot you can eat till after I ate it. I’m early pregnant atm.

midwife app

is everybody’s midwife’s appointments the same?

for me it’s always just been one to one discussing symptoms, mental & physical heath updates and talking about the little things ect.
I never know anything to do with my actual baby until I have scans at the hospital but I see other people say their midwife tells them more in depth details about their baby or even some cervical checks to see progress.

Private scans🤰🏼

Did anyone else pay for more than 1 private scan🫣 I’ve just had my first which showed the heartbeat and really would like to get another in 2 weeks as I know the growth is massive in that time and looks way more like a baby! (First baby)
We will be obviously getting the 12 and 20 week on the NHS and then a private gender scan at 15 weeks.
