I have had an issue with my iron levels for a very long time.
I'm 34 weeks pregnant and finally docs have recommended I have iron infusions. But I'm started to read up on the process and now im so scared.
Have you ever had an infusion before?

I havnt but i’ve thought needed it. Tons and tons of women get it done while pregnant. If you need it you probably feel crappy and getting it done will make you feel so much better. I think it’s A pretty simple process.

Of course it’s safe. I had an infusion when I was 32w I think. I just ate breakfast and watched Netflix to kill time.

I had one at like 10 weeks postpartum and it was a pretty simple process. I brought my laptop and played Stardew Valley the whole time - as long as you bring something to do, it's really not bad at all!

Yes it is safe, had to get them through last two pregnancies. First one I needed six infusions, took twelve this last pregnancy. Both happy, healthy babies. Had Venofer infusions every week between second and third trimester.
