Irrational mood swings

Hi ladies,
Question for you. I am 14 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I have been lucky in the sense that I have not had much nausea or fatigue but my moods are constantly up and down. Most commonly I am irritable or just in an overall grumpy mood a lot of the time. I try to go through my day in my mind to see what’s bothering me and a lot of the time there is nothing specific I am just grumpy and quick to trigger. Other times, I know what has upset me but when I break it down it shouldn’t be a big deal…. but I still can’t shake off the irritability. My sisters both have two boys and don’t remember their moods being so low. My poor husband is usually trying to figure it out and takes the grunt of it. I feel bad. I am tired of being to grumpy all the time but I don’t know what to do to feel better. Has anyone else experienced this? How long did it last? Did anything help?
Thank you for your thought and ideas in advance!

Wait until you are postpartum 🫠🫠 it is a wild (and irrational) ride. Just tell your husband you don’t really hate him and just to hang on, even if you don’t want to be grumpy we don’t always have control over our body when it is growing a human.

This was 6 weeks Post Partum on my first girls trip, although I looked the part it didn’t feel the same. Thought of leaving my baby girl and the sleep deprivation.

Felt like going into back hibernation 😭

Navigating politics as a mother

Has anyone really struggled meeting mum friends because of political concerns? I have always been very left wing ( pro palestine , supporting trans/gay rights , anti racism) and even more so after having a baby because I feel like i’m even more passionate to have a kind world for our children . I get a little worried when i meet other mums at baby groups that i’ll find out they’re actually right wing or against a lot of the morals i hold and i wouldn’t be able to keep that around my child . Not sure if it’s normal to feel so strongly about politics around my baby.
But also if it makes me uncomfortable then that’s also an issue i guess ?

VACCINATIONS

Is anyone’s baby not having their jabs? Or does anyone know anyone who has made the decision not to?
Unsure whether to take her.. unsure whether I trust them.

"Fart Corner" in your child's classroom?

How do you feel about a "Fart Corner" or "Gas Station" in your child's classroom, a designated corner of the room where students are expected to go fart in when they need to and use air freshener afterwards?

Washing powder suggestions 🫧🧼

Hey mamas, I’m due very soon and now ready to start washing our baby’s clothes/bedding/blankets (eeek!). Would love some recommendations regarding washing detergents and powders that have worked for you and whether you tumble dry too? x
