"Fart Corner" in your child's classroom?

How do you feel about a "Fart Corner" or "Gas Station" in your child's classroom, a designated corner of the room where students are expected to go fart in when they need to and use air freshener afterwards?

Personally I don't like it, I think that's humiliating and weird. Does the teacher's lounge have a fart corner where their coworkers/peers can see when you go to fart and use air freshener? If it did would the teachers actually use it or would that be too embarrassing? I think I might have an unpopular opinion because she got a lot of positive feedback for the idea so I wanted to ask here.

Why did my kids just tell me and my husband about this yesterday? That’s so weird to me. I feel like they’re prioritizing trivial things and not addressing the importing issues. I don’t care if the room smells like fart. What I DO care about is whether or not my kids are being distracted from learning because of others that couldn’t care less about being there.

I think it’s weird. Seems humiliating and probably makes kids feel ashamed. They’re too young to worry about stuff like that. Also to me this reads like a teacher who has ocd and is projecting it onto the children. If human bodies gross you out so much, teaching little kids might not be the right profession because kids will be kids lol

Wouldn't work for my kids. They will be farting anywhere and everywhere.

Whenever I picked my kids up at their preschool/kindergarten the place smelled like one giant fart. 🤣🥲

I think her intentions were good, but it’s not a good practice. I will tell my son to step into the bathroom or try to be quiet where he is. It’s not polite in our family to announce a fart and the rules won’t be different at school.

Lol imagine being mid-exam and someone gets up to fart? Too distracting.

Is this not satire?

Plan B or no?

Please I know I’m a dumb ass so let me just say that. My husband included. I’m 6 weeks post partum, ok to have sex again. My husband and I proceeded to have sex last night for the first time again and he did not pull out. He didn’t mean to because immediately after he realized he messed up. In his defense, we have never pulled out BUT that’s also why we have to kids close in age. However, we are done having kids and I’m going to be tying my tubes. Yes he’s still a jack ass for that and so am I.

Point is man, should I take a plan B or what should I do? :(

Finding out I’m pregnant again 5months postpartum…

So around 5 weeks ago I found out I am pregnant again. My baby is nearly 6 months now and when the second is born she will be around 13/14 months old I’m absolutely terrified as she was a c section baby and I know I’m probably going to have another c section….
She is breast fed also …

Has anyone else out there been through this already having 2 under 2 year olds, how hard is it??

any one got suggestions about stopping breast feeding before birth so second baby can have the boobs exclusively or should I start pumping and just give bottle breast milk to older child and the new born? Just looking for advice and suggestions really…

Baby boys playing with babies

What’s everyone’s opinions on boys playing with baby dolls. My little boy who’s 10 months loves playing with his baby dolls and my dad (baby’s granddad) said he shouldn’t be and he should be playing with “boys toys” I told him it will make him more caring and he will grow up to be the best dad himself. He really disagrees

Dilemma

Has anyone had it where their partner has said yes to a second baby and then suddenly changed their mind to say he categorically never wants a second? Really not sure how to navigate my feelings at the moment or what to do for the best 😔

No proper words yet

My son just turned 13 months. He’s not really got any proper words. He understands EVERYTHING. He points claps etc. but mainly says ooooooohhhh or ooooooo to everything. I don’t doubt he’s autistic or anything but just worried why he’s not saying anything yet. Or should I be worried about autism? I’d love any mummies opinions on who’s been through this. They say boys are slower with words?

4:30am wake up for cereal and tantrums

2 nights in a row now, he’s woken up from
Co sleeping with us (he’s had two weeks of being sick and just wanted to keep an eye on him) he’s woken up at 4:30am screaming like he’s in pain and pointing to our stairs. We found out he’s doing that because he is hungry….. any tips on to avoid this 4am wake up session to eat?

Also tantrums. How are we handling them? He’s only 16 months old and he’s throwing fits like he is 2, with little stompies and backing up, can’t tell if he is in pain but he’s been chomping on his fingers more lately and apparently holding his jaw according to my sister, so I’m thinking he’s teething and that’s causing him to wake and scream constantly.
