Finding out I’m pregnant again 5months postpartum…

So around 5 weeks ago I found out I am pregnant again. My baby is nearly 6 months now and when the second is born she will be around 13/14 months old I’m absolutely terrified as she was a c section baby and I know I’m probably going to have another c section….
She is breast fed also …

Has anyone else out there been through this already having 2 under 2 year olds, how hard is it??

any one got suggestions about stopping breast feeding before birth so second baby can have the boobs exclusively or should I start pumping and just give bottle breast milk to older child and the new born? Just looking for advice and suggestions really…

My mum had 4 aged 4 and under, 3 natural births and 1 emergency caesarean (the second one).
It was a busy house but we managed. From memory they did have formula at one point or another and I think had stopped breastfeeding before the next was born, however you can still breastfeed whilst pregnant but 1st baby may go off of breastfeeding when colostrum starts being produced again from 16 weeks pregnancy as they may not like the taste and consistency. If you want to you could express as much as possible to create a stockpile if breastmilk for if this does happen so that breastmilk can still be given for longer until that runs out.
I would also have a chat with your midwife about it all 😊

I heard most toddlers stop bf when the milk taste changes for the new born, so that is probably less to worry about :)

My toddler was much older but self weaned when my supply dropped. You will need to consider that your milk will most likely dry up around month 4 on average so your current child will likely need formula supplementation. I’d keep a close eye on her weight gain to make sure she’s getting what she needs x

First of all, congratulations! I know it’s tough but you’ll see a beautiful relationship between the two siblings which will be worth it! Mine had a 17 month gap and my first kept on breastfeeding throughout pregnancy (my milk didnt dry up even though midwife suggested it could). When I had my newborn, I tandem fed them for around 3-4 months which was definitely a struggle just made sure to feed the newborn first…but my aim was to go on to 2 years breastfeeding, I started weaning my first off it just a month before she turned 2 and she’s around 2 years 2 months and has weaned off completely. There will be tough times and you may feel exhausted at times but the struggle is absolutely worth it and if you have a good support system you’ll find lots of things are easier. Good luck ❤️

Plan B or no?

Please I know I’m a dumb ass so let me just say that. My husband included. I’m 6 weeks post partum, ok to have sex again. My husband and I proceeded to have sex last night for the first time again and he did not pull out. He didn’t mean to because immediately after he realized he messed up. In his defense, we have never pulled out BUT that’s also why we have to kids close in age. However, we are done having kids and I’m going to be tying my tubes. Yes he’s still a jack ass for that and so am I.

Point is man, should I take a plan B or what should I do? :(

No proper words yet

My son just turned 13 months. He’s not really got any proper words. He understands EVERYTHING. He points claps etc. but mainly says ooooooohhhh or ooooooo to everything. I don’t doubt he’s autistic or anything but just worried why he’s not saying anything yet. Or should I be worried about autism? I’d love any mummies opinions on who’s been through this. They say boys are slower with words?

Dilemma

Has anyone had it where their partner has said yes to a second baby and then suddenly changed their mind to say he categorically never wants a second? Really not sure how to navigate my feelings at the moment or what to do for the best 😔

Baby boys playing with babies

What’s everyone’s opinions on boys playing with baby dolls. My little boy who’s 10 months loves playing with his baby dolls and my dad (baby’s granddad) said he shouldn’t be and he should be playing with “boys toys” I told him it will make him more caring and he will grow up to be the best dad himself. He really disagrees
