Marriage and partnerships

Hi,
So my husband and I been together 6 years, 3 years as parents.
I’m at this point in my marriage that I’m just so tired of repeating the same thing about the same issue which is that he doesn’t contribute to household anything.
At first I was trying to be understanding of his work load but so many times I’ve voiced my frustration about mental load of having 2 kids under 2 that I’m so overwhelmed with house work, I also work part time as well as being a wife.
I feel like I’m parenting 3 kids..
he says just tell me what needs to be done but we all live in the same space I shouldn’t have to tell him every little things that needs to be done. But when I do ask for help, he says okay but it never gets done.
I feel like I can’t rely on him for anything and I feel resentment when he just lays down and goes on his phone as him “spending time with the kids”
Even sex is so one sided. No foreplay just straight in and done because he’s “ tired”
At this point I feel like it’s easier to just be single parent but I worry that kids needs their dad. We haven’t spoken in a week because I’m out of words and he’s not the type to talk first and waits for me to smooth things over every time.
I just want some advice of women in same situation or have experienced the same thing.

Just wanted to add this is my 2nd marriage but first marriage thankfully no kids were involved.

I experienced the same thing with my ex husband (no kids involved thankfully). But I understand the “have nothing left to say thing”. One day we went out for lunch and drinks and he said “you look so fed up and bored” and I thought… yeah I am. The following week we sought divorce.
I’m not saying that’s best in your situation at all, just to follow your instincts. They are normally correct.

Kids are better off when their mom is happy- every time! Kids don’t do well when they grow up watching their parents be in relationships just cuz of the kids. It’s a lot of unnecessary pressure on the kids. We are our kids first role models and part of that is showing them what a healthy relationship looks like. Do you want your kids growing up and repeating this dynamic?

If you saw a child with a safety vest on and something was written on it, would you look to see what?

My kids are starting School and they have only ever been in a locked down facility before but this school is not. If they elope and are seen by someone else I want to have something that indicates the need for help. They are going to have a tracking device on them but that isn't immediate enough help. I'm also getting them a medical alert with my number on it but the issue is an adult might not be immediately alerted by seeing a kid alone. I have access to a cricut so I could make them a custom vest 🦺 that's very bright and has something written on it. Not sure what to write yet. Feel free to give ideas.

Getting out?!

At what point are yall getting out? We tried to go to dinner for my husband’s birthday and he was being so fussy, we ended up having to take the food to-go. He’s 3 weeks. Just wondering if I’m having too high of expectations. But I also don’t want to never go out and him not get use to it.
Would love advice / helpful tips

FTM - productivity

FTMs, however are we getting things done around the house? Especially with a Velcro bub, who will only take contact naps (not complaining, I love it, in fact), and having to pump on top of taking care of everything else:[
I have always been a planner, with multiple lists and whatnot - so kind of losing it now with the lack of routine 😅

Do you expect your spouse to text you all day while at work and or respond right away.

I’m a teacher and although the kids don’t come back until Monday, I have a lot to do and a lot to prepare for. My husband is getting upset that I sometimes take 1-2 hours to respond (to non urgent messages) while at work.

Also got mad because I said I don’t always have my phone in hand and that sometimes I just get really focused on my task (cutting, laminating, glueing, taping, doing trainings, etc.) and said it was a bullshit excuse and that I have an Apple Watch.
