What are we doing with them?? 37 weeks and wiped out! She is 2.5 and goes to daycare two days a week (but starts nursery school in September 2 hours a day…) but the other days grandparents usually had her (not taking her at present as I am off and no baby here yet) or it was my day off so Im now with her most days and Im so exhausted! So far today she has watched tv for an hour and then we lay on the bed while she played. Or she just wrecks the house. I have no energy to dress us both and go to the park etc, how are we coping? I feel so bad for her asking me to play but omg 😵 Last time at this stage I was napping and watching movies, now I am bribing someone to use the potty and picking up 400 toys 🆘

I feel this! Luckily it was my little boys third birthday last week so he has lots of new toys to play with, so this week has just been me laying on the sofa watching him play. He’s with grandparents today so I’m managing to catch up with housework, with plenty of sit downs. Thinking of a baking day tomorrow then dad is off at the weekend so hopefully get out somewhere if the weathers nice.
Almost 38 weeks, and counting down the days now 😩😴

I feel you! I’m a SAHM and it’s haaard. Play doctors/ hairdressers/ jigsaws/ drawing. Sit down activities 😅
Thankfully my husband comes home on Monday when I’m 39 weeks 🙌🏽 end is in sight x

I feel this to my core 😂 I turn 35 weeks tomorrow and I’m honestly exhausted. My daughter is going through a really difficult phase behaviourally too. She’s not listening to anything I say, shouting and screaming, throwing things and hitting 😩 she’s also randomly started to wake up loads of times throughout the night too so I’m just shattered. We started potty training 2 weeks ago so we haven’t left the house much (not that I can anyway as my PGP and sciatica have been horrific) I’m so done 😂 I find I’m just clock watching all day until my husband gets home which makes me feel so guilty. I totally underestimated how tired I would be having a toddler and being pregnant 😂😵💫

Yup I’m here too! I thought it was a great idea so we could have some “special time” before baby comes but most of the time I’m gritting my teeth/ feeling so guilty!
We have good and bad days - good days we go to the park or library for an hour, get a coffee and cake afterwards.
Bad days I put the tv on and order food in!
We’ve done lots of colouring/ low-key arts and crafts like making collages, playing games and Lego.
I also swear by a Yoto if you haven’t got one already- they are so good for when you need a break but not wanting to put tv on. We don’t get ours out super often so it feels really special when she gets an hour listening to that. I also think we will need to do more Yoto time at bedtime when we have 2 kids to put to bed - and great for travel, so worthwhile investment!!
