Wish I didn’t miss this chapter of my life

I’m a stay at home mom to two girls. I love them very much but I can’t help but wonder what life would be like for me if I went off to college instead of being a mom. It might sound immature but I always wanted to be apart of a sorority or even just have an opportunity to actually meet people and build my village instead of being so alone and sad all the time on top of being a mom. That’s just a part of my life I’ll never get to experience and I always wanted to. I don’t know if anyone feels the same way

Maybe you should try to see if it is possible for you to go back to school if that is what you want. It takes planning but there are lots of moms that do.

I think about the opposite. What if I never went to college and learn about parties, excessive alcohol, and fell away from the church? So much regret, even after forgiveness. There is so much evil in college, especially now. I don't think it's worth it. I wish I spent my time learning how to care for a home and maybe my hobbies like painting instead of learning about something to make me money to only work for a couple of years before being a SAHM. College and office life made me hard and bitter. It's been a long journey trying to learn how to be a good wife, mother, and Christian woman. I read a lot of books to help me, but it was extremely difficult in the beginning.

Thank you for sharing your experience it was very insightful for me. To be honest I’ve actually became bitter and angry from being at stay at home mom. Like I’ve never felt rage like this in my life and I have absolutely no friends so I have to suffer alone and it’s miserable. I guess no matter what there really isn’t one single that will make you happy 😞 you just have to find it some other way

In job interviews, do you have to tell them you are being made redundant? Or can i still say i have 3 months notice period and i am working part time hours etc?

Is it liying? Can they find out? What do they ask when talking to references?

Working Mamas - Help Please!

I’m due to return to work next month after my second maternity leave, currently at work I do three days, Mon-Wed. I’ve been offered to work Thursdays as well and I’m in two minds if I should.

Obviously the additional money will be a huge help, but it will mean less time with my girls and once my eldest starts school next year, after school childcare costs will be massive.

I’d also like to have a third little one, but after working out childcare costs once they’re in school I’m just not sure it would be possible 😭 the extra day at work would help with that cost, but it’s also the reason the cost is higher 🤦🏼‍♀️, just feel either way I’m losing! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Which would you rather do?

For context, you have 2 children under 4 in nursery. They will be in nursery when you're working.

Would you rather work:
A) two long days, two short days
Or
B) five short days.

Long day is 10 hrs.
Short day is 6 hrs.

Hormone coil

Has anyone got the hormone coil fitted and has found it's helped with their periods overall (mood, lessening the actual flow, fluctuations of hormones).

Thank you x
