Horrendous heartburn and sickness

Just sat up in bed right now after a heartburn disaster, I’m 36+5 and been having it for a week or two now, always have a small sip of gaviscon before bed but tonight it didn’t work. Woke up didn’t feel good, (luckily I keep a bowl by my bed due to hyperemesis)
Still tried to get to the toilet in time but I didn’t make it and it’s the first time heartburn has actually made me physically sick and it was so much worse then any of my HG sickness as it felt like pure fire.
Partner came and rescued me with my rennies and a cold glass of water and getting me off the bathroom floor of course

But now I’m scared to lay down in bed incase it happens again

See if you can be prescribed omeprazole. I had such aggressive heartburn in pregnancy and that really saved me.

Heartburn is such a vicious cycle once it’s in full whack, I totally get you with the fear I would completely avoid eating as fear it would make me sick again but then not eating also then increases the stomach acid.
The reflux would make me cough ans then it would kick up all the acid and then cause to be sick so hard to stop the cycle going around.
There’s so many foods that cause a trigger of acid reflux , but definitely taking out all the trigger foods completely helped break the cycle for me it was so bland though as well and tiny amounts and took a good 3 days to calm down.

Sleeping I would literally sleep upright had every pillow possible and laid on the left side along with doing the siping the liquid gavisgon.

Definitely think if even taking away all the triggers for heartburn doesn’t work then get in contact with GP or midwife to get something help.

I was prescribed omeprazole yesterday. Today was the first time I have woken up in the night since being pregnant where I haven’t felt I’m going to be immediately sick from the stomach acid

Gaviscon will help but you can get tablets from the doctors that will help

Struggling with potential miscarriage

Yesterday I started getting a small amount of brown discharge on my pantyliner, but my pee would be clear and clear in wiping. I had this a few times yesterday but not constantly. Today I’ve had a couple small amounts again, and then I had once on wiping - it was light brown and liquid, and I’ve had the odd stringy brown long bit within. I’ve not had anything else really on the Pantyliners, but now I’m feeling as though I might’ve lost the baby. I’d be around 5 weeks, nearly 6. I’m struggling so much and really worried. I am booking in at the EPU tomorrow late afternoon for a scan but it’s consuming me for the moment. Has anyone else had this experience in pregnancy?

I just wanted to ask what you guys think..
so on the 11th Aug - I had some spotting I thought nothing of it at first until I told my partner and he asked if I think I should take a test.. so he bought me one, I did a test on the 14th Aug morning time, it came back positive! We talked it through and decided to go ahead with it, I had some cramping and odd nights where I felt sick but wasn’t, I then did another test but it came back negative, I called my doctors and let them know, they said it could be too early to tell if I actually am or not but to do a test on Friday morning (tomorrow) a friend of mine thinks it could be etopic, as I have hot flushes, and odd nausea here and there with the cramps.
Previous to this I haven’t had my period since 11th of June but in close end of July I had done a test and it was negative.. so I’m very confused, as I never had this situation before, just wanted your guys opinion on this matter

(Edit: I’ve had no bleeding since the spotting and haven’t had as many cramps)

Baby Breech at 35 weeks

I've just had my scan at 35 weeks +1 and the doctor has sort of panicked me. They're leaving me until 38 weeks to scan me again to see if baby is still breech and whether they'll do an ECV or schedule a c section. It's my worst fear ever to have a c section and I was supposed to be having a homebirth. Has anyone got any advice to get her to turn?

Sent my Fiance to pick up a carbonara for me to have because I was craving one. Cost £11.95. Genuinely the worst thing I’ve ever eaten :( look at the state of this

Rainbow baby

Hi all, I’m 4 weeks and just found out. I’ve got 2 kids and had a miscarriage at 12 weeks in Feb this year, would have been due this week so mixed feelings atm. Quite anxious but excited. I’ll be due end of April so 12 week scan won’t be till mid October. Thinking to do a private scan what is a good time to get that done? 6+ weeks?
