My son will be 2.5 next month. Everytime I clean something, it's a huge disaster withing 24-48 hours. He doesn't do very well with redirection. I'm losing my mind on what to do. I know this is a normal stage in life and won't last forever. I just want the house to stay clean. I don't expect it to be spotless 24/7 but I do want the living room and his room to not look like a tornado came through it. Any advice and tips are welcome.

Negative reinforcement doesn’t seem to work but positive does.

A messy house can be a sign of a happy, thriving child. ❤️ The memories they’ll carry with them will be of you getting down on the floor and playing with them, laughing, exploring, and enjoying those little moments together. Let yourself live in the moment; nothing is permanent, and this phase will pass. The mess can always be cleaned, but you’ll never get these years back. ❤️
So me and my husband got into a big argument on Wednesday. He chose to sleep in a separate room and not talk to me for 2 days. Today I approached him to make it good and he went off again yelling. Yes I was wrong and I took accountability for my actions and apologized, but he haven't and won't. Anyway. On Saturday we have a 7 day cruise. Me, him, baby, and him mom. We are all staying in 1 room. It's all paid for and excursions paid also. Now, if this is how it is now, do I go? He doesn't speak to me, like how do I go and enjoy this? Like if don't go I would cost him 3,500$ since the baby will not be going either. Like I'm so torn. I don't want to make this worse, but at the same time I don't know if he's willing to make it good. Help! What should I do

I was thinking today about how different my life is now that I have a baby compared to my husbands life. My husband went to work today and I spent the entire day on my own looking after our 11 week old baby, he has been out this evening at a work dinner and drinks meaning I’ve also been on my own for whole evening. I will be the one getting up throughout the night tonight to do feeds and changes meanwhile he will just sleep through them all or if he does wake he will just roll over and go back to sleep then tomorrow he will go back to work and i’ll do it all again. Does anyone else feel like this? Does anyone else get very frustrated? I am so appreciative that he works full time so I can stay home and I know work comes with its own pressures but sometimes it feels so hard and tiring and draining. I feel like when he offers to look after her so I can do something simple like shower he almost feels like he’s doing such a good thing and being an amazing and supportive husband whereas to me it’s extremely basic and I feel like what I do and the extreme way my life has changed is not fully appreciated…

Hi, we’re sending our daughter to full time nursery once she turns 9 months and I’m terribly worried that she will struggle. She’s currently EBF, won’t take the bottle and feeds to sleep, has become extremely clingy. Has anyone sent their baby to nursery at the same age? It’s a great place and I can see the children there are happy, but most are rather around 12m+, with a few little ones around our daughter’s age.

So my nine month old doesn’t really eat notes it’s a bottle. We have done both purées and baby led weaning but she just spits everything out like she puts it in her mouth looks like she’s chewing it then spits it right out. Our pediatrician isn’t too worried about it just yet and says if we wanted to book an appointment with a feeding specialist we can and I’m considering it because I see babies her age eating full meals and I know every baby is different and will do things on their own time but it does make me anxious so just curious on when you’re babies really started to eat solid and to see if anyone has any advice.

I’m a first time mom who really doesn’t have a village for support. I live far from family and friends. I stay home with my almost 2 year. The only time I’m ever away from her is when my husband stays with her.
Ive been thinking about finding a babysitter for the sake of our marriage. We need to have some time together without her. I’m just sooo scared to trust someone with my baby.
I came across a college student online who has availability. I’m going to set up a phone call to get the feel of her. How should I go about this? What questions should I ask them?
Thank you!

Ladies, would you be comfortable with your husband being around his brother who’s also married but openly cheating on his wife and having a girlfriend? And even being on FaceTime calls with the brother and the girlfriend? I’m never around when he talks to the brother and girlfriend on the phone.
