Just stick to the appropriate diet as best as you can but know that it won't always work. I did everything right but I still ended up on 3x insulin injections a day xx

As a type one, your best friend is going to be walks after meals, even just 5-10 minutes, really helps with those post eating spikes, hydrate like your life depends on it aswell

Walks after meals, eat your proteins and veg before your carbs because it helps reduce the sugar spike, lots of water, avoid snacking between meals as much as you can - have protein based snacks - but don't be so hard or strict on yourself because your blood sugars can get lower as well so healthy balance

I agree with just try stick to the appropriate diet and lots of water. With my first pregnancy I think my main issue was snacks and sugary drinks. I found out at 34 weeks. By the time I learned everything the medication wasn’t doing much and I had a section at 38 weeks. I’ll be getting tested early this time.

You’ll be fine, just monitor and keep an eye on it xx

Stick to things like wholegrain if you can! And more protein and fats over carbs and sugar!

How to cope, Emergency C section

months of prepping for a water birth and i ended up having to be induced then an emergency c section since baby boy decided he didn't want to come anymore😂 im only 16 days pp but since coming home i've been constantly up and moving about. i don't think i've processed how traumatic the birth was yet since my family and partner haven't really sympathised with what i went through at all

any tips or advice for coping ? should i even bother with talking therapies?

Failed sweep now cramping

I had an attempt at a sweep yesterday afternoon but my cervix was fully closed so midwife couldn’t perform it.

Since then I’ve been very crampy. Does cramping mean the cervix is softening?

Has anyone has a failed sweep that lead to cramping that turned into spontaneous labour?

Exhausted 😴

37 weeks today and I have zero energy.

I had 7 hours (broken) sleep last night and by 10:30am I could feel myself nodding off on the sofa.

Really struggling to entertain my 3.5 year old because I can barely keep my eyes open! Tell me I’m not the only one 🥱💤

Stay at home Mum and ill

What are we doing as stay at home mums when we’re extremely ill. I can hardly get off the toilet, I’m throwing up a lot, I hardly feel like I can do anything and be a mum I’m exhausted can’t eat any slight movement is a sickness wave and I feel so bad. My toddler is 17 month old so it’s not like he just sits there he’s constantly on the move and wanting me. Any suggestions on what I could be doing I’m honestly feeling so guilty
