Late Onset GD
Had a GTT at 26 weeks due to LGA which came back nowhere near the threshold for GD but had a growth scan at 36+4 which showed even more accelerated growth (they’re saying she’s 8lb 3oz😭) - got referred for home blood glucose monitoring and within the first day got 3/4 out of range results so been put on an emergency prescription for metformin. Didn’t even know it was possible to develop it so late! Feel like everything I prepared for is changing so fast and so many new appointments is making me so overwhelmed… Does anyone have any advice on processing or dealing with this😅

Same happened to me!!! I’m more pissed off i can’t indulge in the chocolate I want this late in pregnancy.
I furiously went shopping for chocolate to pack in my hospital bag 😂
Pregnancy and labour is all completely out of our control, just have to ride the waves.
I’m holding onto the fact I’m grateful I havnt been diabetic for longer xx

Vbac
I’m 31 weeks and I think I’ve made my mind up about a vbac.
I think I’ll book in an elective for 41 weeks (as late as they’ll let me) and see if labour naturally happens before then.
I’m hoping this is the right decision but it’s difficult to differentiate fear over intuition.
Has anyone got any advice on having a vbac? How to physically prepare beforehand and in the hospital?
Just for context, there will be just under 16 months between my first and this baby

Leaking
I’m 34 + 2 and I noticed when I was just in the shower that I’m starting to leak colostrum. Is it too soon to start collecting?

2nd bday
So it’s my first Borns second birthday tomorrow but I still have no idea what to do with her tomorrow because I have a baby any suggestions what I can do with a 2 year old and a newborn

Best birthing hospital in L.A county?
What birthing Hospital do you recommend in L.A. County? Did you have a good experience there? I'm closest to Amtelope Valley Medical Center but I want to go somewhere else.

Thoughts on Ellery for a boy name?
I love it, it’s my childs grandfathers middle name, but the rest of his dads family is saying no it’s too girly. :(
