20 month old now refusing to go to bed..

She is fine on the way to bed but as soon as I put her in bed she kicks off crying and screaming.. anyone else in this position?? I’ve never liked the cry it out method but I know there’s nothing wrong she just doesn’t want to go to bed?

I’m in this position…. Literally is fighting it every day. You can see my son is tired but then just will not let himself fall 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve tried taking him up and then back down too. Works for us yesterday. But today. Same as yours. Just wants to play and is getting everything out the drawers 🤦🏼‍♀️

We were the same, we used to literally do a cuddle and he'd melt into us and put him down and that was it - then a few weeks ago as soon as we put him down he'd either scream straight away or stare wide awake then scream a little while after! And the only thing that worked was getting him up and playing quietly/reading with him (but we did it with a really dim lamp on and didn't let him leave his room so it was really chill and wanted to still show it needed to be a quiet time).

Then after a few nights of that we realised we'd just do that straight away at bedtime rather than waiting for it to be an issue - it started off being like 45 min or an hour of dim reading/playing before he'd be ready for bed, but over the last few weeks that's reduced and it's quite quick again, we think he just wanted more kind of interaction with us and we thought that was OK as long as we showed we needed to wind down if that makes sense x

baby carrier

sometimes she makes huge fuss to be held so i order a baby carrier from shein it’s cloth one i love that one but that makes my back hurt so bad and i got one baby carrier as a gift it got a kinda chair underneath my husband gets scared he says she’s small and her legs get open way much i want something to support my back little bit and long term for sure

Feeling down and defeated

I’m feeling some what down and think I’ve got postnatal depression. My 5 month old is just refusing to do anything but cry on me, not sleep or eat (he does have a clean nappy), and my partner pretty much treats me like I’m his maid and not his partner. I don’t feel at all happy with my life and I just feel stuck. I know I’m not being the best mother I can be but this has become my daily life now. I don’t know what to do. I really don’t want judgment but I’ve never felt so alone. I feel like the worst parent going.

Transitioning carrycot to seat (pram)

Hello, I am a first time mum and was wondering when mums moved their babies out of the carrycot to the seat? My baby girl loves to look out and be nosey.

Arm jerking, stiffening and discomfort

My 10 month old is constantly flailing her arms. She also thrusts her arms out in a jerking movement and stiffens her body. She has started to shout with it like shes in discomfort. My GP and the hospital just say its excitement or frustration. We are concerned there are most neurological issues that are not being taken seriously. Its hard to capture it on video as as soon as I get my phone out she stops! I have a few videos that show it well though.

She has had an EEG which was normal. This has been going for months now though....

Any one else's little one do this??

Breast milk supply

I feel like my supply isn’t enough for my baby. She’s feeding every hour and I assumed this was to increase my supply but it seems to not be working. I try to pump when I can but it’s hard to do it 8 - 12 times a day when she feeds about 15 times a day! I would literally get nothing else done. We’re having to feed her with formula more often to keep her settled and full, is there anything else I can do or am I seeing the end of breastfeeding 😕
