I'm very new to making mum friends, or just friends in general to be completely honest.
Maybe it's the introvert in me but is seeing a friend 2 times a week too much, or fine? We're just getting to know each other, so we're not totally friends yet, but we see each other every week at baby yoga, then she always asks to meet at the weekend for coffee.
I don't mind doing it some weeks but every week is a lot for my social battery but then I think of how long I wanted a mum friend and that I'm being too antisocial 🫣
I have a 3 year old and a newborn though, day to day life is a lot, so any free time I have I need to see family and also spend time with my husband. Maybe making friends isn't as big a priority for me as I thought. But I'd still like to have friends, I enjoy seeing them at classes and stuff, and I do enjoy the occasional coffee date with our babies, but I just think every week is a lot for me.

I think it just depends on what life looks like that day…that week. Sounds like it’s a little rigid on expectations.

Think it totally depends on you. I dont see any of my friends 2x a week, but we all have diff thresholds. I just don't have the time. I wish I could grab coffee with my best friend every weekend, but we'd have to have our kids there and that's not as fun 😂

You’re an introvert though. Don’t force yourself. Maybe once a week then? I do see my mum friends twice a week but we’re all extroverted lol, I saw them yesterday we went to a 90’s themed day club lol. Usually it’s one playdate and one meetup without the kids on the weekend. My mama friends are mainly single though so they’re always up for meeting on weekends.
Heyyyy girlies looking for someone to ft and just have a good old chat with! I literally have zero friends! My poor partner has to deal with me FaceTiming him all day everyday! 😂 would love to find someone I can vibe with 🫶

When you get into an argument with your husband.
Do you or him ever throw the marriage line...
I can't believe i'm married to you?
If he says it, do you take it to heart/ seriously?
If you say it, do you mean it?

I remember as a kid my mum had Detol for all sorts. Every graze/cut detol went on it. I've never purchased or used it, should I be? My son obviously has grazed knees quite often, I usually just clean it with cold water and let him carry on 🫣😅

So, I struggle to continually be looking in the app, but I want to continue talking to all the mamas! Is it weird to ask for people’s phone numbers? It’s so much easier to text for me with 4 kids, being pregnant and homeschooling, but I don’t want to weird anyone out or make them uncomfortable 😣 😬🫶🏼 what do you all think?
