Just call your maternity unit to be safe, they should invite you in and can test to see if your waters have broken I believe. Best to be on the safe side☺️

Put a fresh pad on and check again for colour / smell - would smell sweet

I’d call or go in. My water broke at the top of the bag. And only leaked a very small amount. So I didn’t know I had started labor for a long time and ended up with an infection.

9 week scan

So lovely to see this little one wriggling around on screen with their arm and leg buds, what a relief!

39 weeks 3days

Hii everyone, I’m feeling really confused and a little worried, so I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced something similar. My due date is 26th of this month.

Yesterday, I lost what I think was part of my mucus plug, and it was light brown. Today it was a little more and darker brownish. I’ve also been getting period-like cramps that come and go, but I have constant lower back pain that doesn’t seem to go away. My body feels very tired and achy, and if I walk more, the back pain gets worse.

I’m really confused about whether this could be the start of labour or just signs that my body is preparing. Has anyone experienced similar symptoms before labour started? How did you know it was actually labour? ❤️

Overdone it or something else?

Just wondering if anyone has been through this as the GP didn’t really know what to suggest. My abdomen is achey all the time (above my scar) and I have a winded feeling. It’s like I’ve been punched between my ribs at the top of my stomach. When I lay on my side it feels like a crushing, collapsing feeling internally, and flat on my back it’s actually quite hard to breathe. It’s way worse with exercise, even just being stood up too long it feels like my insides are heavy. Started around 3/4 weeks post c-section

Swaddle / sleeping bag

Hey! First time mom here and I am trying to buy all the essentials. I was wondering if I need to buy any sleeping bags/ swaddles for wrapping the baby. Do you have any experiences around this?

Are you planing to have a sleeping bag for the baby in your hospital bag?

Thank you ❤️

Rolling over

Baby is 4.5 months old - was rolling over from tummy to back but has now mastered back to tummy.

But he can’t seem to put the two rolls together, so whenever he rolls onto his tummy he gets really frustrated and starts crying. I move him onto his back and he immediately rolls again to his tummy 😂 does anyone else’s baby do this? 😂
